Purchased to hopefully keep the 2 new kittens well away from the log burner! It’s great that this product comes in 3 separate pieces, allowing you to adapt it to your area. Comes with all the fixings you’ll need. Hoping it won’t get to hot when the fires lit. Given the quality would recommend 👍

I bought 2 fire screens. The quality of the product is good with generous flexibility to fit hearths of different sizes. It's sturdy and well finished. However, assembly could be assisted by improved instructions which better describe which clips go where. It was trial and error.

The actual guard is fine but the fittings that come with it are not very good.The fittings are very sharp & flimsy I also think that the manufacturer should have put the hinges connecting the top on the same as the ones on the side panels. Only that I needed it urgently I would probably returned & looked for an alternative one.

I had read some of the reviews and was anxious as to the quality, well I need not worry, it’s sturdy when all the fixings are in place. It extends to the size you need and the fixings that some people have reviewed as difficult were easy to fix.I had ordered a much more expensive guard but returned it as it didn’t look safe enough. I remember my own grandmother had one like this so it’s a traditional model, bit retro but does the job. I’m happy that we can enjoy the log burner now when my grandchildren are over.This one is such good value for money I wouldn’t hesitate buying again.
