Strong construction, IP66, knock out panels in good places, back, sides, below. These are quite solid so I drilled them out per cable sizes. Screwed lid. Mounting holes have insert seals. Drain point.I used the smallest box to create an access point for multiple camera and security light cables that I needed to feed through a garage fascia. Suggestion would be to include flexible grommets to fit into the knock outs.

The two waterproof enclosures fitted outside to power various electrical items, connections made by waterproof cable glands to the pre formed indents around the sides, top and bottom.Two problems found with these enclosures are that the pre formed indents have a cap moulded in place, these could only be removed by drilling them out and not a push fit.Secondly the supplied screws to fasten the removable top in place are steel and not stainless and supplied without screw caps, subsequently the screws have gone rusty leaveing trails of brown water down the front of the box, a little unsightly and unproffesional.Nice size and shape boxes in need of a little more R&D.

Been in situ 3 years. Inherited outdoor wiring wrapped in a plastic bag!This works and looks much better. Easy to fit and wire up.

Great value medium sized weatherproof junction box.used these on my project to get power to the shed, will easily allow two electric cables to be joined using Wago type connectors without having to shove wires into the corners.Has a weatherproof IP rating, seals seem secure enough. No sign of water penetration but would advise some extra sealant around any incomming conduits

The media could not be loaded. I wanted a solid box to make a switch unit for a motor controller and this fitted the bill perfectly. It was easy to cut holes for the switches and incoming cables (although I did make a mess of two of them, as per the picture, which was totally my fault!Lovely and deep so I could fit the large switches, wire them up and still have space to remove and refit the lid with the cables beneath.Easy to cut and with helpful push outs for the cable glands.It's rated IP66, which I have no reason to doubt but I'll be using it indoors.

Be carefull when removing the knock outs, because, believe me; they aren't. The plastic is quite thin and brittle. One tap with a screwdriver (normal practice) and the plastic shattered. As no time to order replacement, had to repair.I would have expected slightly better for the price. Previous purchases of similar items have been better quality

I've used these before and will do so again, on the grounds that they're not only very good value but are rugged, well finished and one of the most aesthetically pleasing designs for small outdoor enclosures that I've yet to find.That said, I've found them a pain to fit since:- The case is so thick and robust that the scribed knockouts can't actually be knocked out but need to be drilled with a hole saw- Once drilled, the weatherproof "wells" in which the rear mounting screws fit obscure access for fitting locknuts to any cable glands entering from left or right. These can only just be forced in, which would have easily been avoided by moving the mounting points just a few mm further in board- The captive cover screws are far more difficult to tighten properly and evenly than I would have thought possible, given their designI've yet to find anything better, imo, at this price point so will continue to use them where appropriate but if you're reading this Knightsbridge, some improvements to the design would be welcome.
