If you understand a bit about electronics and vehicles it's a fascinating read into the EV technology with a lot of graphs and explanations on how things actually work.

Initial impressions, having read the first few chapters:a) well researched and detailed.b) the book presents many graphs, the majority of which lack scales on their axes; in particular it is often unclear where (if at all) the origin is located. This reduces their effectiveness and, at worst, makes them downright misleading. For example, a graph purporting to show range variation through the seasons would suggest (if one were to impute an origin) that winter range if half that of the summer.

One thick brochure.
If you were looking for a book to explain the technology of EVs like a manual for their construction and maintenance, this isn't the book. Its more like an operators manual. You can get all the same info off the internet through articles for free.
