So only the husks are removed during whole-grain manufacturing, and the grain and bran are processed further. It is also a rich source of protein, iron, and vitamins due to its high nutritional value. It's a wonderful replacement for rice or couscous because of its strong nutritional content. In bread, muffins, and other baked items, replace 1/4 cup flour with 1/4 cup coarse bran, or use both. 1/4 cup bran can be used in cooked cereals, soups, gravies, mashed potatoes, applesauce, meatloaf, and casseroles. Wheat bran like this is getting hard to find not sure why as more people should be partaking in the benefits it gives, this seem like a good quality product by a responsible company, hope this helps.

Firstly, great product. Currently drinking a smoothie with some in. Fantastic pain free relief from constipation: 5 STARS.Secondly, I won't be buying the 3Kg, paper bag (!), size again. The packaging is not strong enough to hold the weight through transit. Luckily, I had some paper, gaffer tape and bin bags near when I took it out of the box. Currently looking at what I'll be vacuuming in 10 minutes! Had to wait till Xmas eve to open it, didn't I! Maybe, if I leave it, Santa's reindeers Will gobble it up as they pass ;-)In conclusion:Product: 5 STARSSize & packaging (only on 3kg: the others are great #ziplock): 1 STAR, sorry.
