Was looking at a few DNA kits, and finally decided on this one. Glad I did. Easy to use and I got the results in about 2 weeks. I only knew of 2 breeds which were a part of my dogs DNA, but was curious to find out the others.The results came back and confirmed the 2 main breeds I was aware of and knew that they would be of a high percentage. It also revealed what other breeds they had in them and it was a very good insight into how they behaved.Definitely legit! I was very dubious of this at first, but I would definitely recommend this kit.

Brilliant results. Didn't send any photos with the samples just so they didn't have any clues! Comprehensive and interesting reading. Our puppy is a Romanian rescue, approx 7kg but other than that we know nothing. I was convinced there was Dachshund in him because of his face and little turned out paws. There was 16% Dachshund! But more amazing was that there was Pit Bull, Boxer and Alasatian in him too! The medical reports were interesting as were the traits he was suspected to have. It was pretty much spot on from his dark muzzle to his fan tail! Very easy to take the swabs. Puppy wasn't fazed at all. Very clear instructions. Was about 2.5 weeks from receiving the pack to getting the results back. Very impressed!

Easy to use, simply 2 swabs inside cheeks. It confirmed breed and ruled out several inheritable health conditions, which was good. I was a bit disappointed, that some of the health conditions they checked for, weren't relevant to this breed. But I guess it's a broad spectrum to cover many possible breeds. Some interesting results.

Amazingly simple process and the most hilarious results for our much loved 30kg chihuahua mix! Could not recommend more especially for any rescue dog parents!

I ordered this DNA test because I adopted a dog which was rescued from the meat trade. I knew she was a mix breed & was interested to find out which breeds were in her DNA. She has 22 breeds in her & I'd say they got 99% correct. It tells you their traits & also they can find some of your dogs relatives which I was surprised about. The DNA is also tested against a lot of different veterinary drugs, which is helpful in finding out if your dog is allergic to any of those drugs. They also list out all the different breeds which are in your dog's DNA results & give an in-depth description of each breed. If you have a rescue dog & are interested in finding out more about them, this test is well worth the money, there is so much to read through when they send you the results! I highly recommend them! I am very pleased with the results, makes my dog extra special.

Love this product as was interesting to know about my dogs breed if he was a pure breed of cross breed but came back 100% the breed we thought. Plus had the health test done extra but was worth doing as well came back no health issues. And they are still sending updates on family tree so good . I did the 5 monthly payments so wasn’t bad at all

I have 3 dogs all on this database. The first one I had tested is an old tyme bulldog Bear, with NEBBr papers. I wanted him tested because I was hoping to breed depending on health test results. Results were perfect and the breeds that make up an old tyme bulldog were as expected, British Bulldog, mastiff , pitbull. Was happy.Next I tested my Female called Sweetie, She is bully X shar pei. Again, results came back as expected and all health tests were clear, a happy customer .Fast forward a bit, we had a beautiful litter of pups from which I kept a little female called B. I had her tested again with wisdom panel but spent a bit extra and went for the more extensive testing kit.Health results perfect again, so happy about that, but the family tree was baffling. According to B's family tree her Mother Sweetie was a shar pei bully mix, correct. BUT her Dad Bear also came up as a Shar pei bully mix ??? I'd already had him tested as mentioned and nowhere did Shar Pei show in his lineage so how come now it suddenly pops up out of nowhere only on his Daughters profile but not his own ? Doesn't make sense and I contacted Wisdom Panel about this. They told me The family Tree in the Ancestry section is only a theoretical pictorial depiction of what the ancestry would look like and does not scientifically indicate which parents would be carrying what breeds. I was happy with Wisdom panel but now I'm a bit dubious , I would recommend for the health testing only.

So impressed with this test!! I did a lot of research before buying it to make sure it was the best in the DNA testing field and I was not disappointed. Shipped to Australia pretty quickly and customer service helped me with some questions that I had about shipping it back quicker. The test was easy to do and the results are spot on (probably). I have two mutts from different rescues and their personalities make me think I had a herding breed and a lab, which I do! Happy to have this confirmation so I can now work towards meeting the needs of the genes of those breeds.

It was a present for my partner who doesn’t need a gift/ always buys for himself.(Our dog was our newest adopted from the pound, so we never know what we get)It was 3x the cost of a human DNA test with results like ‘ eye colour is likely brown’… seriously.But it was fun to do (just a swab) and her results are in the second pic :)
Innacurate DNA test for my dogs
Test said 50% Chihuahua, abt 50% Pomeranian...the Pom I can believe, but my dog is about the size of a Border Collie! And behaves just like a working or herding dog. I think their sample pool is inaccurately self-reported. I purposely did not send in a picture of my dog in case they looked at the photo and made up the result- but perhaps, I should have! Pretty inaccurate.
