Having owning a aiwa stereo in the 90s I had no worries about buying this discman it really does live up to the quality I've always found with aiwa

This player is one of the better ones currently available. Build quality and accessories or good. No where near vintage Sony discman for sound quality, but for playing compressed mp3 files it does the job quite well.

Great little player and received it sooner than I expected from the vendor which is a plus. The function to recharge batteries using the player is amazing. I definitely recommend

I've been searching the internet for a good quality portable CD player; this is it. higher output level than my old Sony, built-in battery charger, programable functions. Supplied with soft case and good quality in-ear phones. Perfect.

likes ; handy built in recharger. good sound volume level. esp, ok .good quality sound. like the switch which prevents touch when moving deactivates buttons .compact player .not too heavy for carrying.dislikes ; no bluetooth so headphones are wired only .no graphic equaliser so cannot adjust sound bass/ treble to any great extent, esp just about adequate. i like the sound level but some people just cannot understand you have to hold down the x-bass button for about 2 secs .xbass rarely used. travel stabiliser good .battery case cover slides open a bit too easy. print too small .controls need to be bigger .recommended.

Har en liknande cd-spelare sedan tidigare, Aiwa PCD-810BK och för att kunna hålla isär vems spelare som är vems så blev det denna till flickvännen.Oavsett om man tar den blåa, röda eller gråa nyansen så får man samma typ av hårdvara och kvalitet.(Kör med IKEA Ladda 2450 mAh och den äldre IKEA Kvarts batteriladdaren. De batterier som följer med spelaren är endast på 1500 mAh.)Köpte en likadan till flickvännens vännina i julklapp. Mycket nöjd med dessa cd spelare.
Suprisingly Good, Incredible Value for Money
I already have a Technics SL XP-6 whch back in the early 90s was the best portable player I could buy. I decided that after 30 years it's probably best to put it into retirement while it's still in perfect working order and I was hoping that this Aiwa, being the only brand name portable CD player on the market, might be OK.I was shocked, and I mean shocked to hear how beautiful this Aiwa sounds. I am using good quality headphones and listening to good quality CDs in my assesement, but it's better then my Technics at 10x the price (even before adjusting for inflation). Now it's entirely possible that the Technics has degraded over time without me noticing, but even so this is incredible and I am loving it.I am not audiophile, but I do appreciate good quality HiFi and appreciate great recordings. I don't know all the technical terms to describe the audio, but clarity, soundstage and impressive mid range are the kind of words a proper reviewer would use, and all are super impressive.It has an unexpected great feature, ESP can be turned off. This is important as ESP usually involves a great deal of compression of the audio and this compression is not lossless, which defeats the object of listening to CDs. This is an impressive feature given the price.The build is excellent, OK it's plastic and years ago I would have turned my nose up at a plastic player, but this is nice plastic and it contributes to very light weight. The battery door feels solid, and the lid hinge does not feel weak or loose.I won't use them, but the supplied earbuds seem quite good for what they are. The soft case is a nice surprise and even the charging cable as a premium feel.Bottom line here is simple: If you are looking for a new portable CD player in 2023 then this as your best choice.
