The fully enclosed motor is thermally protected and permanently lubricated. Equipped with the new Thermospeed controller that can easily control temperature and speed. Automatic ON/OFF cycle at the desired temperature. The fan comes fully assembled right out of the box; only installation required is electrical wiring.

Great exhaust fan for the garage
It's an easy install and works right out of the box. Just plug and play.It moves a good bit of air and is actually quite quiet. I can't hear it in the basement with the garage door closed and it doesn't vibrate at all unlike my fan hood in the kitchen.Haven't used the temp switch as I plugged it into a remote switch before going into the outlet and will just turn it on when I'm sawing or painting to remove dust and fumes.Great addition to the clean air aspect of the work space. Longevity remains to be seen but will update.So far a ten for the price and convenience.Recommended.

Easy install, smooth operation. Love it.
I added one of these to my shed and another one to my garage. On the shed, especially, the minute it turns on, the temperature inside the shed drops dramatically. the garage, not so much. Neither structure is insulated. But on the shed I was able to install it at the highest point up on the gable. the garage doesn't have a high spot, so it's at about the 8-foot level, and it doesn't cool as quickly as the shed. But all in all, these units are a breeze to install, and they use regular outlet plugs, so no electrical is needed. Easy to install, work great, and I can set the temp for when I want it to come on and go off automatically.

All parts of the fan arrived in good condition and worked well out-of-the-box. The temperature controller has some hysteresis which was expected. So far the only negatives have been: 1.) the flange was too wide to fit between normal studs, but an angle grinder made short work of the edges, and 2.) it makes some electrical and/or resonance "buzz" noises at lower fan speeds, but that doesn't really matter in a garage like where I have mine installed. The fan moves a lot of air for its size! I'll be interested to see how it fairs over winter (I won't be using it then, but it's not installed in a temperature-controlled environment).

I have a 12’x20’ utility shed, which I wanted to cool down so that I can operate my ham radios. A while back I installed a wind driven turban fan, which was just ok. I researched mfgr’s and found this unit - 12”x12”. Figured with Prime, I couldn’t go wrong. This unit was very easy to install in my gable opening. Leveled it and installed SS screws with washers. Hard wired an outlet up above. Plugged in the thermostat that came with it, set it at abt 88F and let her rip. This unit is excellent and incredibly Quiet! With the fan running, my turban fan runs backward to offset the negative air pressure in the shed! This is a Great unit - go for it, you won’t be disappointed!
