Just got this product - so far happy with the product. My previous Epson printer worked well for nearly 15 years before it gave up. It's amazing to see how this printer is so advanced - prints faster, double sided with good clarity, has a compartment to keep paper sheets and it's not difficult to use.

Lasted exactly three months, then thick white bands down the centre off all colour prints.Cleaned print heads, nozzle check, print head alignment, new set of ink cartridges (that cost more than the printer), still fails to print any colour document successfully.Since over 30 days old Bolo pass you to Printerland who pass you to Epson, who have a very very very long wait time.Given up.Suggest you look at HP/Canon from John Lewis where there is a 2 year guarantee included

Limite ce qui prend le plus de temps c'est le déballage et l'enlèvement des scotch de protection, mais sinon, niveau installation, rien de compliqué. Qualité d'impression ok, je ne suis pas déçu. Elle fait encore fax pour les rares qui l'utilisent encore, mais sinon vous n'aurez meme pas besoin du pc. Vous branchez, vous mettez le papier et les cartouches et il n'y a plus qu'à suivre les instructions du petit écran.

Nach viel Ärger mit HP endlich ein vernünftiger Drucker (EPSON)!
Die VorgeschichteUrsprünglich ein EPSON-Fan, kam ich vor geschätzt 20 Jahren von EPSON weg, nachdem mir damals im legendären Stylus Color die Tintenpatronen eingetrocknet waren und die Tinte auch pro Auscruck sehr teuer war.Dann hatte ich über ca. 20 Jahre ausschließlich HP-Drucker (Laser und OfficeJet). Sie waren gut konfigurierbar, hatten super Software und liefen auch am Mac prima. Der letzte Drucker von HP war dann der OfficeJet Pro 8600e all in one, den ich 2014 erwarb. Dieser hatte ab und zu Mucken und stieg mit seltsamen elekronischen Problemen öfters mal aus. Da kam statt eines korrekten Scans eine Seite mit lauter Streifen heraus, oder der Ausdruck funktionierte nicht richtig, bis ich den Drucker vom Netz nahm und resettete.Genervt vom teuren Tintenpreis versuchte ich ein einziges Mal Tintenpatronen eines Fremdherstellers. Und hatte damit Ärger mit verstopften Druckköpfen. Ich kaufte - nach Reinigung des Druckkopfes - einen Satz Originalpatronen - und bekam dann plötzlich die Fehlermeldung "Fehler im Tintensystem". Mit Hilfe von YouTube ging ich auf die Fehlersuche - bis in die tief versteckten Systemmenüs für den Service - und fand heraus, dass es überhaupt keinen Fehler im Tintensystem gab: Aus dem Servicemenü heraus druckte der Drucker einwandfrei - doch nach Rückkehr in das Endkundenmenü war das Drucken gesperrt - mit derselben Fehlermeldung. Scheinbar hatte HP den Drucker nach Nutzung von Fremdtinte "elektronisch gesperrt".Ich ging auf die Suche nach einem Nachfolgemodell - und stellte fest, dass bei HP keine aktuelle Druckersoftware für den Betrieb der neuen Druckermodelle am Mac verfügbar war. Drucken ist mit den aktuellen Modellreihen offenbar nur noch per Funkverbindung ("Air-Print") möglich. Und das wollte ich auch wegen des Elektrosmogs nicht (ich nutze auch kein WLAN).Nur Air-Print, trotz Netzwerkanschluss und USB? Kabelschnittstellen für Mac nicht nutzbar? Damit war HP - auch nach dem Ärger mit der "Deaktivierung" nach der Nutzung von Fremdpatronen - endgültig raus.Ich recherchierte - bei Brother, Canon und EPSON und landete schließlich wieder bei EPSON.Nach langem Vergleich fiel meine Wahl auf den Epson Workforce Pro WF-4820DWF!Meine (bisherigen) Erfahrungen mit dem Epson Workforce Pro WF-4820DWF:Der Drucker kam super gut verpackt - alle losen Teile mit duzenden von Klebstreifen gesichert. Ich baute auf, schloss den Drucker an und fand hervorragende Softwaretreiber und Dienstprogramme für den Anschluss an meinen Mac vor. Scannen, Drucken ... alles läuft perfekt und reibungslos über das LAN-Netzwerk. Natürlich könnte ich auch per USB oder WLAN arbeiten, aber das muss ich nicht. Die Software wird auch automatisch aktualisiert - und sie läuft einfach.Die Bedienmenüs des Druckers sind übersichtlich und selbsterklärend. Und: Der Drucker druckt schnell und in deutlich besserer Qualität als mein alter HP. Ganz besonders beim Fotodruck stichtdie hervorragende Druckqualität ins Auge. Dazu bleiben die Farben nicht wie beim HP auf Glossy-Papier klebrig, sondern werden vollständig und griffsicher trocken!Was etwas stört ist, dass ich, wenn ich auf ein anderes Papier oder eine andere Papierqualität wechsle, dieses Papier über das Menü im Drucker angeben muss. Allerdings ist dies vermutlich der optimaleren Anpassung des Druckprozesses an die Papierqualität geschuldet.Über die Reichweite der Tinte kann ich noch nicht viel sagen. Die Setup-Patronen reichen für ca. 150 Seiten (darunter etliche A4-Fotoausdrucke).Erstmals versuche ich auch, den Tintenabbo-Service von EPSON zu nutzen. Das erste halbe Jahr ist hier kostenlos. Der Seitenpreis ist ähnlich wie beim HP-Tintenabbo-Service, jedoch darf ich bei EPSON ungenutzte Seiten über 2 Monate übertragen, während diese bei HP nur über einen Monat nachgenutzt werden können.Die Tinte kam im Abbo-Service leider per UPS. Das ist etwas nervig, weil es bei uns in der Nähe keinen UPS-Serviceshop gibt.Alles in Allem bin ich bis jetzt extrem zufrieden mit meiner Wahl und kann EPSON nur wärmstens empfehlen - ganz besonders dann, wenn man keinen Windows-PC sondern einen Macintosh-PC mit MacOS verwendet.
