Lightweight, fast, very powerful little sander works perfectly with a 5ah battery good run time and if looking for more run time works well with a 6ah flexvolt too.

Does not cake up like so many sanders and if you dont use a filter or vaccum ejects a plume of particles across the room, i also used with dewalt 115 squared sanding sheets whck also did not cake up like by old bosch mouse used to every five mins

I'm a big DEWALT fan, I built my own house single handed using predominantly DEWALT battery tools, so I had no hesitation ordering this. The product itself was fine, as expected really. faster than promised delivery, well packaged. Sturdy, minimal vibration, very good paper holding. Top notch, in fact. So why the two star review? I'll tell you, 3m up on a tower is NOT the place to suffer an ELECTRIC SHOCK from the speed control dial. Okay, its only 18v but it wasn't pleasant, and it was constant. The tool was only 5 minutes working time old, so must have left the factory with the fault. Bolo, to be fair, were brilliant with a refund, no questions asked.
