After over 45 years of baking/cooking I've used multiple types of vanilla. High end expensive vanilla extractand paste, mexican vanilla, clear, natural, home made, whole beans and artificial. This isn't worth the money. First I've never seen liquid vanilla bean paste. Its usually thick and the smell of true vanilla paste is a strong vanilla smell. This smells like artifical vanilla or VERY diluted vanilla paste. The flecks do not look like vanilla bean paste. And the flavor is nearly non existent. I used it for vanilla bean ice cream and used 1 teaspoon for 1 quart of ice cream and couldn't taste it. I had to add vanilla extract I had. Also, once the vanilla paste was stirred in you couldn't see specks In the ice cream like every other paste I've ever used.I don't know what this is but I dont think its vanilla bean paste in a usual sense.

I haven’t had a chance to use this product but when it came, very quickly, I opened and jeez, it smells wonderful. I’m sure it’s going to be a huge addition to my pound cakes when I get to it. Sealed tight, packaged well for delivery and was a quick order.
