Our son was very happy with this and spent a good hour or so chipping away to reveal the fossil.

It's actually difficult to dig into, it seems as if the pieces are mass-produced, they don't fit into each other and end up breaking off. It took two grandparents, an uncle and a nephew to get the pieces out and none of us could put them together, they just don't fit. There is no clear instruction in the book either.

Product might be the same inside box (not yet opened) but the actual box is in Spanish and is completely different from the one shown in the listing. So not completely happy

The actual digging was fun and he skeleton looked good. However, the assembly was a nightmare. Very poor fit, the spine does not come together, the tail falls off, the legs do not attach well. Very poor make. Do not recommend

After all the effort my 4 year old son went through to excavate the fossil out of the gypsum, we proceeded to put the fragile plastic fossil together without success because the fixings do not line up properly or aren’t accurate in making.

Digging was fab. Kids really excited to get it built. It's so hard. Husband can't even get the peices in with pliers. Square peg, round hole.

Uiteindelijk toch teleurgesteld doordat onderdelen niet goed in elkaar passen.

Offert à mon petit fils 6 ans. Jeu de patience intéressant. Les outils en plastique sont assez faibles pour un plâtre très figé.La cage thoracique du squelette est difficile à assembler par pression et pas stable.Il a bien aimé mais je doute qu’il le conserve entier dans le temps.

It was fun for my son to use, but some pieces were a little difficult to follow and put together. Overall it's a good value for the cost and gave him some educational use under STEM as he loves science.
