So, I thought it was failed machine cos it didn't work. Then I watched some YouTube videos of this machine and found that some have made mistake of the connection too believing the machine would work sucking through the pool pump suction into the sand filter.Please don't make same mistake connecting the machine is through the discharge of water (after filtration) into the pool. The dirts are trapped inside the machine filter. I tried running my pool for two hours then open the machine to clean out any dirt trapped.The machine climbs to clean the walls of the pool as indicated by the seller.It's a good buy. It saves me all those stress of manually cleaning my pool.

Unfortunately, I’m quite disabled so I need an automatic cleaner, and this one operates on a pole by hand. However, I would be very happy with it if it been electric. It looks like it’s very well-made and the seller refunded me straight away despite my error.

Followed instructions pool cleaner brushes moved when out of water stopped once placed in pool all correct capacity flow used, returned for refund 3 weeks in still waiting, poor quality and poor service

I really like my pool cleaner, I leave it in and forget about it. It climbs the wall and covers the floor, picking up small debris in the filter. I wouldn’t say you can completely stop manually cleaning your pool occasionally, but I don’t know have to spend a couple of hours every week doing this. It’s quite mesmerising to watch!

Bought this and its amazing, our 31ft pool was filthy and within 2hrs of running this pool cleaner we could see a huge difference, it climbs the walls too, we would thoroughly recommend this to anyone.

The media could not be loaded. Avevo un vecchio modello di robot Intex 28001 da 5 anni che bene o male faceva il suo. Dall'anno scorso le plastiche, i tubi, ecc si sono deteriorate pesantemente e quest'anno ho deciso di acquistare un robot nuovo. Ho preso quindi questo 28005 che devo dire ha subito miglioramenti veramente tangibili. Partiamo con il dire che tutti i robottini Intex, che "lavorano" grazie al flusso d'acqua in entrata, necessitano, per funzionare al meglio, di filtri/pompa con una discreta potenza. Io posseggo un filtro/pompa Intex 26648 che in modalità filtraggio gestisce 8000l/h. Penso che questa sia la potenza necessaria per questi tipi di robot. Se si possiedono pompe inferiori, per poter "muovere" questi dispositivi, probabilmente dovrete utilizzarle in modalità ricicircolo. A differenza del mio vecchio robot, che per muoversi sul fondo sfruttava il getto d'acqua che usciva dai due lati, questo sfrutta la rotazione degli pneumatici e delle spazzole. Il getto d'acqua esce verso l'alto quindi, oltra a tenerlo "ben piantato" al fondo ed alle pareti aiutato dall'effetto venturi, non viene "mossa" dai getti d'acqua la sporcizia adagiata sul fondo. Il filtro interno ha una maglia molto fine e questo aiuta anche ad aspirare lo sporco/fango che solitamente era difficilmente trattenuto da questi dispositivi (vedi foto scattata al filtro dopo 20 minuti di lavoro su una piscina abbastanza pultia). Questa è un'ottima notizia ma il contro è che, avendo appunto un filtro molto prestante, questo si intasa molto velocemente (limitando la mobilità del robot) e se avete una piscina abbastanza sporca dovrete pulirlo molto spesso (operazione che richiede un minuto circa) per farlo lavorare al meglio. Quindi diciamo che questo robot offre le migliori performance nel mantenimento di una piscina già abbastanza pulita. Quindi, se dovrete "iniziare" la stagione e la vostra piscina è abbastanza sporca, sappiate che ogni 30/45 minuti dovrete pulire il filtro interno al robottino. Inoltre considero un grande miglioramente anche la presenza di un ulteriore filtro all'interno del bocchettone d'entrata acqua in piscina. Questo evita che le impurità non trattenute dal filtro a sabbia o se lo utilizzate in modalità ricircolo, non entrino negli ingranaggi all'interno del robot. Concludendo consiglio assolutamente questo robot che con il suo filtro a maglie strettissime consente una pulizia e trattenuta sporco anche in modalità ricircolo e con l'ulteriore filtrino in entrata acqua piscina consente di non rovinare i suoi delicati ingranaggi. Inoltre trovo ottimo anche il fatto che riesce a pulire/spazzolare le pareti salendo in verticale sulle stesse. Speriamo solamente che faccia il suo lavoro per qualche anno. Brava Intex!
