Yes you read the headline right - but first of all let me begin with a issue that others have asked about and for which there have been conflicting answers given - these shoes are not waterproof - the upper material is a mesh knit similar to that seen in many modern trainers, so when it rains and given a amount of time passing, your feet will get wet, or - if like me on my bicycle commute - the route you take involves enough patches of road that flood and more than a few country lanes with ginourmous puddles then your socks will have plenty of liquid to soak up.So if wet feet puts you off go no further - as a bicycle rider i have plenty enough tricks to stop that happening, so I just learned to be prepared for rain the first time it happened. I bought these industrial safety trainers because, like many of those who cycle, I have seen the asking price for the supposed special cycling shoes we have to buy going totaly crazy through the roof stupid and - and cycle shoes do not even fit human feet properly and seem to be designed and created by idiots who think our feet should be squeezed into something half the width it needs to be.I am not taking part in some road race. I want to get from A to B in safety and not have to put up with the stupidity of those silly things they call cleats, or the basically useless velcro or boa lacing system's supposed proper cycle shoes come adorned with. I do want a shoe with enough room inside for my feet and with a sole that is robust enough, unlike normal trainers, to resist said feet pushing down of pedals. I want something that - when I have got from A to B - leaves me feeling just as comfortable as when I set out and not have acheing feet from those brain dead cleats or the stress of pushing pedals around in spinny circles.If by now you have got my drift, then yes your right - I am one of those people who looks at so many of the ways in which the modern cycle industry goes about extracting money out of us for their latest idea on how to make a fast buck - all I want is to ride my bike and at the end of the journey have enjoyed myself and am not left feeling that I bought some snake oil that doesn't work and is frankly next to useless.Beyond any shadow of a doubt these are the best shoes that I have ever used while riding my bike. They are incredibly comfortable. They are well venilated with their mesh style upper allowing your feet to breath and that is not with also allowing your toes to get cold during bad weather, indeed quite the opposite. At the end of each journey I think about all of the money I spent with (insert name of bicycle shoe company here) and think I could have bought untold numbers of these safety trainers instead and maybe even bought myself another bike rather than owning lots of cycle shoes that are - quite frankly - a rip off.Oh and I almost forgot to mention the greatest point about them - they look like normal trainers - even thought they have a composite safety toe cap - they look like normal trainers - and that means when I get to the end of my journey I can just lock my bike up and walk away sounding like a normal person in normal shoes and not on tippy toes making a click click sound like some demented insect.

I have had the shoes a couple of months now. The shoes are comfortable and light, like wearing a pair of trainers but the in sole has a cratered foam texture instead of flat, maybe to massage the feet but it is a strange feeling. They are light to wear and comfortable. I was impressed with the quality overall and the rubber sole is thick, grippy and well made. The negative side, the inside of the heal fabric has already worn away exposing the plastic this is rubbing on my heals and I now wear plasters. This has occurred on numerous safety trainer type shoes i have owned in the past. I have to wear padded socks to avoid blisters. The toe area has a composite cover rather than steel which is strong, light and doesn't set metal doorway detectors off, which was one of my choices searching for a safety shoe. Overall for the price, I am pleased with the purchase but I would recommend using the Bolo, try before you buy feature to ensure the shoe fits well as you may prefer the next size up from your usual size. The composite toe area may feel too tight on your feet over time so would recommend testing first. I would buy them again when my current pair are worn out.

Bought these for my work offshore in Mozambique as the ones my work provided were not up to much so took a chance and ordered these for the reasonable price of £40, if they were not any good then it wasnt too much to spend.Turns out they are excellent. Perfect for my hot climate of work over here and nice and light weight.Toe cap is strong and they are very comfortable. They look really good too and could be easily mistaken for very pricey safety shoes, i was immediately comlimented on them from my colleagues.I am very active at work and they were worn in within one shift. Very comfortable to wear in no time which can be a problem with new safety shoes where in the past I've had some shoes that take days or weeks to break in and be comfy.I seen some comments about the insoles being unusual and some people didnt like them but i think they are very good. They have a dimpled effect on them and the material is like memory foam and for me they are very nice to walk on. I brought new insoles with me to work to change them in case they were not any good but I have kept the originals in the shoes.Good light weight but sturdy shoes and these were exactly what i was looking for.Cannot fault these shoes and an absolute bargain at the price. I will be buying another pair for my garage at home as a spare pair.Delivered very quickly with no issues as usual from Bolo and I would very much recommend

Used these shoes for nearly 3 years with 0 issues so far. Grip is ideal for warehouse and retail. Safety toe doesn’t affect mobility. Fit is slightly wider so suggest wearing thicker socks.

This Black and orange with the patch on the tows should not be on the same page as the all black or all grey model, they are not the same, the tow cap si smaller heavier and tighter, they don't compare to the grey or black ones, I bought the grey ones before and the tow cap is very comfortable this on the other hand is painful.

Bought these for work and they are great. The company issued pair were painful to use but these are so much better. Get a pair, especially if you’re walking a lot.

Premessa:- ho piede piatto- un piede più largo- deficit della dorsiflessione- plantari ortopedici.Nonostante i problemi ai piedi, dopo i primi 3 mesi di utilizzo continuo, sono molto soddisfatto.Le scarpe sono leggere, larghe e alte internamente tanto da lasciare libere le dita nei movimenti, con un plantare interno rimovibile, inbottite e calde per l'inverno ma traspiranti e utilizzabili anche in agosto. Ottima la suola antiscivolo. Unico problema la tenuta all'acqua che però dovrei aver risolto facilmente con l'aiuto di spray impermeabilizzante (attendo verifica).Bella l'estetica, le puoi usare anche al di fuori del posto di lavoro.

I do carpentry so I bought these for the summer and spring when I’m not needed a full boot. They fit nice and they’re as comfy as I thought they would be. I’ve had comfier work shoes but these don’t make my feet hurt or feel weird whatsoever. The composite/steel toe is an awesome feature on these and they actually look aesthetically pleasing compared to other work shoes ha. Overall great shoes for the price. The only thing I don’t know is how long they’ll last but only time can tell.
