Brought this data only sim for when I was put into temporary housing and I wasn't sure how long I'd be in there but I knew it wouldn't be long enough to have broadband wired in.I brought a device off Bolo to fit the sim in and activated the sim as per instructions.It was very simple to do and the sim activated in great time.I have 3 children who all use devices that need internet including our tv and I've not had a single issue connecting or staying connected even though 3 is not named in my post code as great signal.I also needed to extend after the initial month and that was sorted by a simple email, fast response back and voila...I am now sorted with another month of unlimited data.Very impressed and will use again in the future if I'm in the same position or need portable wifi.

Absolutely rubbish, received item then read has to be activated which will take at least 48 hours so it's not ready to use you need to buy it 2 days before you actually want to use it . ...this should be explained fully in description as have wasted this money as bought a sim I can actually use straight away

The sim card is good but was annoying that you have to wait up to two days for it to be activated by emailing the company, I did need it activated on the day preferably, but once it's on it works fine

We've just been "SLAMMED"- our phone, number and broadband effectively stolen by someone making an ISP request for service and using our address erroneously (no, we don't know who, 65 addresses in a rural postcode, not chapping on doors asking bizarre questions!). Plusnet couldn't stop it thanks to the wonders of "One Touch Switching" introduced by the useless "OFCOM". That's progress folks!! Anyway, ordered this and the TP link M7000, turned up today, worked out the best position to place it "mid house" and it's working brilliantly, did a speed test and it's faster than the copper/adsl we had. Plusnet are trying to reconnect us but I think this will be fruitless as they seem to think they can connect us with fibre, which I assured them is not even installed around here. I may well see what a rolling service from here works out at, and it's great that it's unlimited compared to what O2 offer directly....Thank you Sims4Home, saved my sanity living rural and being disconnected is a nightmare....

Awesome product. I could not be happier. The best part about all this is the customer service is top notch. This company went above and beyond to get me running here in the United Kingdom. Their help phone number is beyond belief.I am writing this review with the aim of benefiting both travelers and my medical school colleagues who need to arrive in the UK with a functioning cellphone and plenty of data/Wi-Fi so they can stay on par with their colleagues, communications, and internet needs.I am a medical student from the United States. I flew to the UK in November 2023 to complete clinical rotations in the United Kingdom as part of my curriculum. Our rotations begin the same day which we arrive. Being properly prepared to switch cellphone carriers or make sure you have a plan in place for adequate Wi-Fi if needed will save you from a headache as you start the rotation in the hospital the same day you arrive. There are 300 or more Americans and Canadians from my school in the UK at any given moment. Hopefully this helps some of you and our colleagues that followMy visa application was pricey and came with a Sim Card. I thought that I had my phone situation solved “sorted.” I was wrong. The sim was slow and only allowed 2gb of data total. My apartment also came with Wi-Fi, but construction is mainly concrete where I am, and our Wi-Fi was only functional in our kitchen. My colleague, who also arrived in November, was assigned another region in the UK and his situation was more limited. His two cellphones were all locked. He was looking at having to buy a new phone. His apartment Wi-Fi was only functional from 5pm-8pm. The rest of the time it was lagging to the point it was unusable. You don’t appreciate what you have until you don’t have it.We both needed solutions to our cellphones to allow us to communicate with our preceptors and Wi-Fi that would allow us sufficient data to cover our medical resources online and also fast enough that we could attend the mandatory, weekly zoom/meetup meetings.With Clinicals having started the day we arrived in the UK. we were already going to be a week behind in studies. Playing catch up is never easy. I asked the locals what they used. some recommended Vodafone unlimited data plan and when you go to costa coffee, show them you are with Vodafone, you get a free coffee.I looked on Bolo so that I could have the Sim Cards delivered. (My recommendation is to get a proper Sim before you ever leave the country. Also, the Sim Card that comes with an expedited Visa should not be considered a solution.) I found the Sims4Travel site listing Vodafone and O2 sim cards that were prepaid and had unlimited data. I then checked their cell tower strength in London, our locations, and overall reception in UK. Both Sims looked like possible solutions to meI purchased both as I needed something that worked ASAP. I also purchased a sim card router to put them in. I showed my colleague who immediately purchased the Vodaphone sim and a mobile router the size of a phone that had a 13-hr. battery for just over a hundred bucks. His arrived first and He tested it in the basement. Using the sim card modem he was streaming a video on the laptop while simultaneously being in a what’s app video call with me. He had no connectivity problems... He was stoked. He had a functional solution. He just carries his sim card modem in his pocket, and it gives him wi-fi everywhere he goes and to multiple devices at a time.my experience with the customer support really means a lot to me.My Vodafone sim card arrived a few days after my buddy got his. I had ordered a different modem than my colleague and I was struggling to figure out how to set it up. I contacted the modem support chat who said, “Vodafone should work in the Wi-Fi 6 modem, please reach out to the carrier. Sims4Travel had a post card in the package with online activation, and tech support email and phone number. I called it and there was an immediate answer. He went through the settings with me while I was on the phone. He sent me a screenshot of how it needed to look. We eventually got it running.Two days later my other sim arrived, O2-sim. (I plan to use one sim in my phone, but my modem can also run dual sims. if needed, I can put both sims in my modem and then my connection becomes really fast... I called the Sims4Travel, and I got the same guy, and he remembered me. He treated me as a friend. Far better than I have ever been treated by a phone company in the United States. We initiated the 2-hour activation, I received a text that the sim was now active. An additional 3 hours passed before I tried the Sim in any application. At this time, I received a text not from a machine, but the tech support I spoke with prior, asking if the Sim was functioning properly. I confirmed that it was. Costumer service is top notch.I believe for those traveling to the UK, who require cellular and data connections, this product paired with its customer support is the best. Also, to the medical students coming to the UK, make sure you know if your carrier covers the UK and at what rate. I had other colleagues with coverage that their phones charged an additional connection fee of $5-10 per day. If you are in this situation, I would highly recommend that you sort this out before you leave the United States/Canada. It would have saved me a lot of time my first week of clinicals. If you are like my colleague and myself, not only looking for a solution for our mobile phones, but we also needing a mechanism of getting Wi-Fi without signing a cellular contract. These prepaid data sims became the solution for both. They will work in unlocked phone and the sim card modems. The costumer support is better than any other company I have worked with. I wish that I would have had this sim before I left the United States as it is an essential precaution for me as medical students. The loss is minimal if not needed and an essential time saver if needed.

We bought this for my daughter who is studying abroad for a semester in Scotland. We had some trouble when we first arrived because we had not activated the SIM correctly. However, the customer service staff helped us promptly over email and call and got things going very quickly. It has now been a month in and we received the renewal option and will be using this service for the next few months. The connection is always strong and my daughter communicates primarily through Whatapp with talk, video and text. The unlimited data makes her not worry about how long she’s on for and it’s better than her school or dorm connection so she often uses this for school applications and surfing/streaming.Thank you!!

YES! THS SIM CARD WILL WORK FOR YOUR iPhone XR. My phone is on the VISIBLE network (pay as you go Verizon essentially) AND my phone is unlocked as I own it outright.I meant to activate this prior to leaving for my trip, but forgot and only remembered an hour from landing in London Heathrow. So- I frantically paid for internet access and redeemed my code to activate the sim.1. ( LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE, DO THIS THE DAY BEFORE YOU LEAVE & BEFORE YOU GET ON THE PLANE per the instructions!)2. Once I redeemed my code, I inserted the SIM card into my phone. Because I had Plane WiFi, my phone continued to text whilst on the plane. 10 minutes from landing, I toggled on this SIM card in my settings.(LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE: YOU NEED TO TOGGLE OFF your regular provider service at the same time or the CARD WON'T WORK).3. I deplaned, went through customs and relied on the good people of London to help my navigate the train system to my Hotel with no service. This was a 2 hour process as I made a few errors along the way. I got to my hotel and met up with my best friend and STILL didn't have service, so I reached out to customer service from her phone. They were very responsive, but I missed their timely response as once I was with her and had access to her phone, we were OUT THE DOOR.4. It was the second day that FINALLY toggled off my regular service and then everything worked a CHARM!5. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOWNLOADING AND USING WHATSAPP whilst in the UK- for some reason its was far more reliable than iMessage- which proved unreliable at best even with working VODAFONE service. However, my WHATSAPP worked perfectly every time.6. FINAL LESSON: You will likely go through dead spots in your travels so just keep that in mind. You will very likely not have service when on the Tube. Whenever I could connect to WiFi I did, especially when accessing high data apps like Instagram or TikTok. Public WiFi was widely available- in most of their major train stations and on any passenger train.I'll definitely buy this and use it again, but do better by myself by setting things up a day early as the instructions encourage you to do ;)The instructions also say that it can take 8 hours before service fully kicks in. I would say to plan for that at minimum.

This card supplies good 4G data service for the stated (limited) time period. It is NOT a Vodaphone mobile phone service card, ie. you cannot use it to make mobile phone calls on the Vodaphone service. It worked well in my tablet to allow me internet access without needing a wifi connection. I am thankful that I also bought a GiffGaff sim card for actual mobile phone service on my cell phone.
