The media could not be loaded. After a conversation with friends about the nostalgic 90s toys of our childhoods, I had a search around to see if tamagotchi pets were still being made... And to my delight I found this! I had a very similar white virtual tamagotchi game as a kid, with characters around the edge just like this model! I couldn't resist and I treated myself. My tamagotchi arrived today and I've been enjoying an evening of nostalgic fun, it's just like I remember! It seems well made anf nice quality, I really hope it lasts!

This is honestly the best thing that I have ever bought. After seeing it on this thing my friend sent me I bought it on Bolo and it is honestly the best thing that I have ever bought. All of the qualities are amazing and honestly the display is really good.Pros:Really funAdorable animationEasy to get the hang ofTeaches you responsibilitiesCan pauseThe beeping can turn ofGrows up as you play with itOnly takes 6 minuets tops to get up and runningCons:Quite expensiveNeedySlightly dark displayHas nightmares so wakes you up in the nightAll in all more pros than cons and honestly, some of the things that I mentioned I only read on the internet. The dark display is honestly not as bad as some people are making out and I cannot take my eyes away. In fact, the slightly dark display hasn’t go any artificial light so can’t harm your eyes to bad.I have now been playing for 1 hour and 17 minutes

Getting the Tamagotchi is like being a kid again back in the 90s and the “stress” of making sure your Tamagotchi is fed, clean and happy to see how old you can get your Tamagotchi is real!It really has taken me back to being 12/13 years old with my first Tamagotchi. Thinking of getting one for my sister at some point, as she didn’t get to enjoy her Tamagotchi for long as she lost hers on a plane coming home from vacation (that’s when we got them cuz they were £10 back in ‘97) But this Tamagotchi is the real deal!Only downside to is is there is no backlight so if you’re in a dark area, you’ll need a flashlight or some sort of light to still play. I remember when I was in the car as a kid, I had the same problem waiting for lights to come by the car so I can see how my Tamagotchi is getting on.Other than that, it’s GREAT!

Bought this quite sometime ago and never got round to reviewing. I wanted a little throwback to my childhood, so purchased this to see how I got on. It’s good and it does the job. The battery life is decent, it makes a cool little addition to your key ring, or you can hook it on to your trousers or jeans. It makes a little noise from time to time which I like though it may not be good if you can’t have alarms going off. Buttons are small which can be tricky if you have fat fingers like me but it’s mostly fine, and it’s lasted for a long time. My only criticism is that the screen is not bright enough, I know this can’t be helped but I do find it a little hard to see

I've had this Tamagotchi for a few months and I managed to raise him to the Adult stage.Before purchasing, I read reviews where some Tamagotchis would die after 3/4 days with good care, others said the egg wouldn't hatch.1. My first tama died after 3 days with perfect care. I realized you have to be very careful with the weight after the baby stage. Each stage has a base weight (baby 5 oz; child 10 oz; teen 20 oz; adult 30 oz) and if you double his base weight he will get sick and die. Mine was a child with 22 oz when he died... After keeping track of his weight, I managed to keep him alive until Adult stage (currently 13yr).2. I would recommend reseting your Tamagotchi after you first turn it on. Also, the egg will only hatch if you set the time. Which means, every time you reset it you need to set the time again.Overall I'm very happy with the product. Arrived very quickly in the original box. It's very difficult to buy Bandai Tamagotchis in Europe (dispatched from Europe), only the minis and the originals. The screen may be a little difficult to see sometimes, because it doesn't have a back light, but again, just like the originals from the 90s. It's the perfect gift to my inner child that always wanted a Tamagotchi. I recommend.
Fun and nostalgic :)
It's a classic tamagotchi. Obviously fun to play with, and has a good build so if you or your kid plays rough it should be able to take a beating. I really like the design of this shell too, it is cute and the paint is high quality, it hasn't chipped off.
