The only instructions you will need are in the listing. I showed my 7 year old grandson how to make a circuit, how a switch works and the effect of serial and parallel connection. With my multimeter he could see that 1.5v plus 1.5v made 3v and so the lamp(s) glowed more brightly. He also experimented with different materials to see whether or not they conducted electricity.I was particularly impressed with the design of the battery holders. They can be clipped together in series or in parallel.My only minor criticism is that I would have preferred plug-in connections to screw terminals, but for the price it is a steal.

We are happy with our purchase. Initially our daughter was frustrated because she could not build a circuit that "worked" but once we used an ammeter we could see that two of the wires were defective and we could fix them by undoing some of the plastic at the ends - exposing more of the wire - at which point they worked and so did the circuit :-)

I bought it for my son and he loves playing with it again and again. It teaches basic wiring and very easy to assemble.

It was a lot smaller than I thought the instructions where torn in the box didn't look good when it was a Christmas present.

Its a nifty little kit thats great for young kids to learn the principles of electric circuits and seeing what insulates and what conducts. You can try different combinations to see what makes the bulb brighter or not light up. My 8 year old really enjoyed working with this. I didnt know how to attach the wires to the components but found a video on youtube of a kid doing it. So if like me you dont know, you screw the black and red parts left and then right to tighten on. Recommended.
