I've roller painted a large bungalow exterior with Sandtex and have just discarded the liner, leaving the paint tray almost like new. Brilliant idea.

Liked that they could fit snugly into one of my paint trays, liked that they are a practical solution to saving cleaning time.Disliked that they were thinner and less rigid than previous paint ray inserts I’ve used, but that probably means less plastic used in manufacturing which, in turn, reduces harm to the planet. However, when picking up paint on the roller, the tray wanted to ripple up as the wet roller tried to lift it (so hard to describe it in words!).On the whole, though, it ticked the box for what I needed - speedy cleaning.

They are cheap but could be cheaper..Not worth more than £3 as you only thrown them away.Very flimsy.
