- This 56 track 4 CD clamshell box set features all of the albums released by Pilot between 1974-77.
- Disc 1 is the debut “From The Album Of The Same Name” which features the hit single ‘Magic’ – a UK No.11, it also hit No.5 in the USA and No.1 in Canada and has been featured in films such as Herbie: Fully Loaded, Happy Gilmore and Magic Roundabout.
- Three bonus cuts have been added including the ultra-rare ‘Ra-Ta-Ta’ single recorded under the name Scotch Mist.
- The second disc is the UK No. 48 hit album “Second Flight”. This features the international hit single ‘January’ – a UK No.1, it also topped the charts in Australia, made No.21 in Germany and the Top 100 in America. The song has also been regularly used in TV adverts for the Asda superstore!
- One of the bonus tracks is the UK No.31 hit single ‘Just A Smile’.
- Disc three is 1976’s “Morin Heights” album which includes the singles ‘Canada’, ‘Running Water’ and ‘Penny In My Pocket’. Amongst the bonus tracks are rare solo 45’s from members Billy Lyall and David Paton.
- The final disc is 1977’s “Two’s A Crowd” album, previously only available on CD in Japan. Includes the singles ‘Ten Feet Tall’, ‘Monday Tuesday’ and ‘Get Up And Go’.
- The booklet includes detailed liner notes by ‘History Of Rock’ editor Michael Heatley (in a new interview with lead vocalist David Paton) plus picture sleeves from around the globe.

I have reviewing my collection and came across this set. This took my back to my younger days when the tracks were first released and many a fond memory. If you like the music of this era this is a must. To the seller; thank you! Worth every penny!

For a group of very experienced session musicians (David Paton's bass can be heard with Kate Bush, Camel, Rick Wakeman, Elton John and many many more). These are well crafted songs, (with a few well know 1970s hits) more pop than rock considering the core of the band went on to back Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson as the Alan Parsons Project. Great package if you are a fan of 70s music.

Fantastic! Two’s A Crowd on CD!
The box set design is pretty neat. All four discs work properly and the sound is phenomenal. It’s a “must have” for those who want “Two’s A Crowd” as it is rare to obtain. This also features an interview with David Paton in the liner notes. You may find some information that you didn’t previously know about the band and its members.

Wer die Popmusik der 70ziger mit ausgefeilten Arrangements und Gesang mag, kommt an diesen 4 Alben der Band Pilot um Mastermind David Paton nicht vorbei. Mit einem schönen informativen Booklet versehene Box und Bonus Tracks auf den ersten 3 CDs. Da schlägt das Herz des Sammlers hoch ob dieser WV bzw. Erstveröffentlichung des 4. ä auf CD in Europa ! Übrigens ist David Paton auch noch aktiv als gefragter Studio Bassist und auch Tour Bassist ( zuletzt mit Albert Hammonds auch in Gernany auf Tour gewesen) und hat einige SoloAlben veröffentlicht und Pilot Rerecordings, auch nicht schlecht, ein toller Musiker!
