I'm a regular purchaser of Ecco and as usual, very happy with these shoes.They were bought for day to day use such as dog walking and general wear. I wouldn't be using them for sporting activities beyond simple gym work.Really comfortable to wear; the sock fitting as well as the lacing provides really decent ankle support.

Super product. Understated style. Very high manufacturing quality. Strong soles with excellent grip. Strong pull loops unusually at the front & back of the ankle. Also unusual is that the tongue is part of the upper. So it's like pulling on a sock. The tongue can't slide around to the left or right. It's very comfortable and correctly sized for my UK flippers. Decent width too (I'm a EE on the width). It's not a well known or trendy brand in the UK (I think they're Danish?) but make no mistake this is a product of the highest quality. For the price they're a bit of a bargain. I'll definitely be buying more of their shoes.

Waterproofing failed after nine months of wearing them once or twice a week.

These have a real feel of quality. My husband walks more on the front of his feet and he finds these really comfortable. The sole is pretty tough and seems durable. The leather is really good quality and the rice was a bargain.

I love the MX from Ecco. Great fit, last well and very comfortable.This is the first day wearing and went for the nubuck expecting them to over a decent level of waterproofing.I was wrong walked through ankle deep gras covered in dew and feet are absolutely soaking wet.I have other nubuck boots and they were waterproof out of the box so disappointed at Ecco.If you are using MX for walking anywhere off road better to go for the forested version.

Great shoes
As I have only owned the shoes for a few weeks, I cannot comment on longevity, but the first impressions are really great, they look really good to me and got good grip, even in rough terrain, perfect for hiking. I bought this in same size as my shoes from Nike and these feel similar in size, perhaps a little bit more narrow but not a huge difference.
