And the smaller sizes are really good for a pocket or glovebox.I’ve done graphite work using powedered graphite and smudging and pencil on top and can get a surprising number of layers, lots of sharp detail and fairly dark graphite. You can smudge smooth as anything on it but it’s not so smooth it’s like Bristol board which I don’t enjoy.I’ve also used acrylic on it (with gesso pre prepared underneath) and it doesn’t buckle much at all.I’ve seen people use pastel and tombow pens and alerts and this paper looks good.Only thing I’d like is a whiter paper version as though I really enjoy using a cream toned paper it can sometimes photograph badly for social media and such, looking a bit dull and yellowed in an unpleasant way. But that’s usually more with graphite than when you add colour, which it complements well.I’d prefer a white one for graphite and a coloured one for everything else.Otherwise out of many different papers I’ve tried this will be a staple in my art supplies.

Having used a range of sketchbooks over the years, some of which never get much beyond the first couple of pages, this is the best I've had for carrying around and general use. Smooth paper, perfect for the super fine ballpoint I like to use but thick enough to take light watercolor washes if required. All the pages open flat, and it's well made too, it feels like it will survive bumping around in a bag. I used moleskine before..lovely but expensive and you feel like you have to be perfect using them. With this pad I don't mind doing daft things and wasting paper, or gluing things in. It's a really lovely little book, and the square 12x12 size is a refreshing change too. I will be getting more!

I really love these books and have several in different sizes. The paper quality is lovely and smooth, and takes ink and water colour well.I use a variety of sizes from A6 for field sketches up to A4 for desk sketching. I love the bright and cheerful colours as it makes distinguishing my different sketch books a lot easier! Great value for money!

It’s a good cheap sketch book , the paper is more to the thin side so i wouldn’t recommend mediums that demand strong thick paper but as a sketching pad it’s really nice . Pens do bleed though the paper a bit so keep that in mind

I love these sketchbooks as they are affordable and the paper is smooth albeit a bit thin. Its great for dry media and 1 to 3 layers of acrylic marker depending on ink flow. There is a bit of bleed through when using brush pen ink but again if you use thin ink marker with low flow I think it would be fine.Plus the low price makes me not afraid to experiment with different types of sketching.Overall a great brand of sketchbook and one I will definitely be repurchasing!

Compré creyendo que era de otra forma pero bueno en sí para quienes les guste un cuaderno de bocetos pequeño y de bolsillo les gustará. Para mi forma de dibujar no me sirve.La hoja es suave, el color de las tapas es muy chulo, suave y me gusta.Pero no es para mi.

Ottimo prodotto, buona carta, un po' giallina ma va benissimo. Già lo conoscevo perché avevo comprato della stessa marca altri sketchbooks e li ho usati quindi andavo sul sicuro. Ideale per sketch con matita, inchiostro, pennarelli ad acqua e acquarelli,ma con questi ultimi meglio non esagerare con l'acqua perché comunque non ha la grammatura perfetta. Ideale per chi vuole usare per veloce urban sketching o sketch journal.
Good quality for not being cotton; takes water well.
A lovely watercolor sketchbook. No bleeding through or pilling with normal use. Holds water well enough. With some stretching or overstretching of the binding you can make this lay flat without holding it down to paint across both sides. Travels well. Nice elastic closure. Sized to transport easily in a purse or medium sized bag. ~5 x 8". Paper is thick, but not cotton. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again. I paid $11.04 each.
