To be clear, if your not confident/comfortable with replacing the joystick, taking apart small electronics with multiple tiny security screws, normal screws, and ribbon cables this is not for you, there's a reason they charge money to repair these things.The joycon itself is pretty well put together, surprised that even the internal plastics invisible to the user are the same colour on the inside as the outside, but if you can figure out how it comes apart, you can swap the joystick mechanism and put it all back together, worst part was pulling the battery off of its adhesive and the tiny tiny ribbon cables (I recommend a good pair of tweezers for the ribbon cables, they are fiddly).After reassembling, tried to update the firmware, and it was already matching what I had. tested it out and it worked flawlessly, didn't even need calibration.Feels like its internal spring mechanism is a little bit stronger than my other joycon joystick, but that could be because the other one is still original and worn from use, other than that it looks and feels the part, you wouldn't know it wasn't the original without looking at the part numbers. Very happy with this

It's refreshing to buy a product like this on Bolo and it actually be decent quality, thankfully these replacement thubmsticks fixed the set of joycons I was working on, I'd ordered from a reputable seller on monday, bank holiday weekend arrives and they still have not arrived! As a last ditch attempt on thursday I ordered some from another well known website for console parts in the UK, paid £6 for next day delivery, it's now Sunday evening and neither order has shown up.I ordered these on Bolo this morning, they arrived less than 12 hours after ordering.Suffice to say they work really well, feel the same as the OEM parts and have the same resistance feel and tactile feedback from the click as OEMs do. I'll be using these in my future repairs as they are failry priced with a good delivery window from Bolo.

For those looking for the quick answer: This is a GREAT solution to drifting problems, these will get your sticks straight again, and for the price? It's a no-brainer. For the more detailed issue I had (which was somewhat minor, but still an issue), read on.When I first put these sticks into my Joy Cons, the offset was off, point just slightly in an up-right position. I actually had to remove them again and clean under the analog stick's rubber 'dress' to correct it again. This wouldn't be a problem for someone of my level of understanding of Joy Con's (I do this for fun and to help friends), but for someone who is doing this for the first time, or someone who wants minimal fuss; please do realise that they may not start out perfect, and may need a little tinkering here and there.All-in-all, the result was the desired one. I didn't feel the need to contact the seller about this, as it is easy enough to fix with the right tools, and they really do work as though I've just bought a brand new pair.

These are part for part replacements, high quality, exactly what you need for Switch lite. I would say that if you're replacing the left stick it's fairly straightforward, but if you're replacing the right stick it's far more tricky. There are lots of small connectors, screws, and film cables to worry about. There are great youtube tutorials available, watch those, follow them. You will need a fairly small philips head screwdriver and a 2mm Y driver, I'd also grab a cocktail stick for prising those little tabs and connectors and some fresh thermal paste (for heat sink, or snack). It's not for the faint hearted but take your time and stay organised... changing a right stick involves removing the motherboard, heat sink etc.

These are one of the best purchases I’ve made!If you know what you’re doing - these aren’t particularly difficult to install and will save you the massive fee of investing in a new joy con.It is a bit fiddly if you’re not used to repairing electronics but if you are then these are well worth the money - no issues so far (~6 months of heavy use).

Only needed fit the red stick (left joycon) to repair drift. It's not too difficult to replace, more fiddly. After about a month it's starting to click when making a full circle motion. Apart from that works just fine.

Chercher un guide de réparation sur iFixit pour que ce soit plus facile.Le matériel n’est pas aussi grippant que le matériel original de Nintendo. La manipulation est tout de même similaire et dans dérapage.

They seem okay to add to a switch. They feel better than I was expecting, they were a little bit more stiff to move then my OEM ones, but I am unsure if this is just because they are new.But they worked fine for a replacement.The switch I replaced them with still had problems, but I believe this was not because of the stick replacement
