Fantastic diagnostic tool. Have used it a few times so far and could not be more impressed very easy to use and well laid out. Only downside is on first use takes a while to do all the updates. Would definitely recommend

The Phonix Plus is no longer sold by Topdon as it has been replaced.However it is a good machine to diagnose and service slightly older cars. I find it easy to used and well built.The screen is bright, and the text is clear. The instructions are generally clear too.It generally has good coverage of German cars too.

This diagnostic machine has everything a DIY car owner or garage would need it comes with lots of equipment for various vehicles and it's eas of use via wireless connection it's full of features you would only get with dealer level diagnostic equipment but this is available to every one great job topdon

Bought this for my Dad and he’s impressed with it so far. He’s a retired senior vehicle technician and has found it useful for our cars and simple to use. The larger display screen makes it easy to view plus using and carrying a tablet instead of a heavier bulkier laptop is a bonus. Also been impressed with the after sales support :)

It has done things our more expensive German diagnostic platform fails but having said that we use it to compliment the platforms we already own so where one lacks the other may "fill in the gaps" so to speak.Comes with 2 years updates and regularly updates easy to set up but doesn't come with much instructions but soon got the hang of it. It has struggled with the dongle which plugs into the OBD socket as its a little too big to get into the recess on some VW's and Vauxhall Corsa's but don't let that put you off as there extension cable included which I found at a later date. If you are looking at a bit kit that covers a lot of makes and want more info of what the car is doing with live data and can graph and even program I would recommend this excellent value for money.

I was in the market for a new diagnostic tool and decided on the Topdon Phoenix Plus after reviewing all available options in this price range. My previous machines have been the Autel and the Launch,and for me this Topdon was my choice as it ticked all the right boxes. It has more features than most and is very robust in construction which is a must in the motor trade. For the short time I have had this tool there have been more than 40 updates and the 2 year free updates is an added bonus to the package. It has an easy to navigation menu and the battery voltage reminder at the top of the main screen is an excellent addition to remind you the battery condition as you can easily be caught out with a poor battery on a car you are just doing a quick scan on if you have not connected a battery saver . The quality of this tool is most impressive and so far I've not been disappointed in my purchase.

Edited : after leaving the intial review seller commuintaed and offered full refund for returning the item if it was not suitaboe for me. Also offered assitance with issues , however I was already communicating with tiodon tech support directly so never needed extra assistance.Purchased via Bolo assumed it’s the manufacturer selling here. It’s not the case , they are 3rd party seller also price is about £300 more expensive from other seller in other online places .however that's a genuine unit .Product itself does what it supposed to . But lack of actual functionality a lot when it comes down to get any specific special function done.I have 3 other scan tool and Autel still does the job without any pain .In my opinion should get autel not this for the price .However it's very fast operating and good easily understandable software and layout .All being said not1 scanner will do it all but for shop and quick access environment this can he a good machine
