At under 30cm cubed this little subwoofer punches well above its weight thanks to dual 8” subs and a very generous 800W RMS of power. I like its clean look and distinct grille design as well as the very handy remote app controlled settings. This makes things super easy to make and listen to adjustments on the fly.I have these paired up to Klipsch ‘The Five’s’ powered bookshelf speakers which have a 80Hz crossover when a subwoofer is plugged in. On its own the Klipsch can reach down to around 50Hz in my room and I was happy enough with this for the last 12 months. However as you do, I wondered what it’d be like with sub to fill out that lower octave of sub bass. I knew I needed something high quality and the 3000 Micro fit the bill.Getting to the sound…wow does this puppy dig deep. My first demo movie was Dune (2021) on 4K Disc. The high quality bass that the 3000M emits is wonderful, super deep and solid. Real meaty and satisfying. My typical volume is 75 – 85 dB’s tops and at this level the bass feels bottomless. I was utterly impressed and I’m not easily won over these days.With music they needed a little more tweaking – after setting the crossover to 80Hz manually in the app with a 6Db slope, I found this gave the smoothest integration with my speakers and room. Adding a sub to my system just made it so much more flexible in terms of bass levels at lower volume. It really adds depth to my system which I thought was already good in the bass department.A week later I added the SVS isolation feet @ £65. These helped to further clean up the bass response and made the bass even tighter and less boomy. Well worth the outlay.As you can tell I’m thoroughly impressed with what SVS has achieved with the 3000 Micro. Full bodied quality bass in a clean and compact package, Expensive yes, but it delivers.

Unbelievably awesome subwoofer for the size and price. Pairs seamlessly with any speakers I've tried it with, and still kicking out fast, tight, clean bass 4 years latet. I wish the app was a bit easier to use, but it's a great feature to have regardless. Hoping to buy a 2nd one soon

You won't be disappointed for buying this. If you have a small listening area, don't look further! It has tremendous amount of bass. Easy to fine tune using SVS bluetooth app.

Small but Mighty – Best Subwoofer for Its Size!

The SVS 3000 Micro subwoofer is an absolute powerhouse in a compact package! Despite its small size, this sub delivers deep, punchy bass that fills the room with incredible clarity and precision. If other subwoofers rely on the force of size, this little guy is Yoda.I wanted something to provide precise low ends for audiophile-grade music, not thunderous booms for movies. Reading reviews of the dual opposing drivers combined with the 800W of power convinced me to give this little guy a try.Glad I did. Wow! Even though I had measured for size, it still struck as. tiny after setup, but surely the sound is not small after listening. Exactly what I was looking for. It perfectly replicated the big round lows of the oft-subdued standing bass in great classic jazz retaining its rich overtones, and added remarkable color to exotic percussion. I had long been fascinated by the sound of Joachim' Cooders "dumbek" in his dad's "Ganges Delta Blues" on "Meeting by the River" (Cooder/Bhat), but this thing made that instrument fill the room with ethereal sound.I knew the mighty little guy was overly capable when my wife was dismayed by house rattles while I was simply listening Getz & Gilberto's famed jazz classic with the volume set on -18dB. The risk to the marriage was not only remedied by picking up the SVS "Sound Isolation System" (special rubber feet), but the chosen solution further sharpened the sound eliminating imperfect room modes.The SVS mobile app made setup and configuration super easy including the low-pass filter tool which recommended an 80 Hz low pass frequency for my speakers (3D Acoustics 3D8's) that worked well. After playing with it a bit over time, I settled on a 24 dB "slope" setting as giving the cleanest sound thus letting my primary speakers take over pretty quickly above that.Can't speak to pros and cons for chair-rattling theater applications, but this little guy punches WAY above its weight for high fidelity music. Think I'm just gonna call it Yoda as it packs a whole lotta force in a tiny little body.
