I love making my own strength soda up and was excited to buy this syrup to use with the soda machine and it smells amazing but the after taste is so off putting i had to tip the bottle away :(

I bought this for making old fashioneds and other cocktails. The bottle is cheap flimsy quality, as my wife put it “that looks cheap and nasty”. However, I was more interested with what’s inside but sadly it didn’t get any better. It’s not what I would describe as sugar syrup, it’s very runny, more liquid than syrup. Also the taste, the orange element is fine but the after taste is just nasty! It taste very artificial and leaves a horrible strange taste at the end, like sweeteners if you sucked on one of those. Proper sugar syrup is literally dissolved sugar, this is more like a dissolved pack of sweeteners…… not nice at all.
