Irecently changed my home WiFi and was worried that I’d no longer be able to use the bulbs but the app made switching the WiFi super easy!It guided you through how to reset the bulb manually (turning it off and on via the switch 3 times) the bulb can then be connected to the new wifi via the app while keeping all your previous bulb settings!Just as good as a high end brand & looking forward to get more Tapo products for the house!

If you want an honest review here you go, so firstly of all the bulb is as bright as a normal light bulb at a fraction of the energy usage. If you want a bulb that you can:Change the brightnessChange the colourSave energy (software tells you how much saved)I recommend this to everyone who's either energy conscious and/ or wants a bulb that is better in every aspect possible i recomend with every bone in my body. So overall, its a great bulb with endless possibilities in colour. 10/10 product thanks Tapo!

product is good , reliable and most importantly worth the money . can switch up into multiple different colours when demanded . could have been a bit brighter in general but it’s capable of successfully lighting up a bedroom . app is also very user friendly and the bulb looks pretty fancy . is compatibility with a phone is pretty strong meaning there is no delay when using the app to switch colours . overall , the bulb is easily controlled and easy to use , i do recommend.

Bought a two bulb set. One bulb has just now started dying after 2 years of use. The bulb is probably fine, seems like the logical "smart" unit is what's defective as the bulb switches on and off in a continuous pattern for 5 minutes and then switches to that introductory pairing light sequence, before returning to normal. It buzzes continuously now too as a result. Until now though, it has been a stellar addition to the house, setup was easy and app worked reliably.
