So far, I've been very pleased. It is easy to operate. The instructions were clear. The quality of prints is excellent. It was at the top end of my budget, but I'd say it was worth the bit extra. I would recommend this printer to anyone who can afford it.

J'ai longtemps hésité entre une imprimante jet d'encre, le top en photo mais chère à l'usage et une imprimante laser couleur, meilleur marché mais jamais exceptionnel en photo. On se pose alors la question du nombre de fois qu'on a besoin d'imprimer des photos et on se rend compte qu'on ne le fait quasiment jamais... Mais surtout parce que cela coûte une fortune d'imprimer !J'ai acheté finalement cette imprimante et j'en suis ravi.Rapide, silencieuse, une qualité photo top avec déjà de très bons résultats même sur du simple papier normal.Les cartouches, après plusieurs dizaines d'impressions, n'ont pas bougé. On est parti pour un bon moment et on imprime bien plus facilement qu'avant, textes, graphiques, photos, on n'hésite plus à sortir ce dont on a besoin.Pour conclure, l'écran tactile est bien pratique et indique toujours bien ce qu'il faut faire.Un bon produit, j'espère fiable dans le temps.
Uma excelente impressora
Ainda com um tempo de uso limitado tem cumprido com o seu objectivo muito bem. Chegou bem embalada e em boas condições. Demora um pouco a instalar mas depois tudo funcionou perfeitamente. As impressoes são boas e a tinta parece durar o que baixa o custo da impressoes. O preço da impressora é alto mas a qualidade parece justifica-lo.

Nach einigen Monaten im Gebrauch nun eine erste Rezension: alles funktioniert prima, die Farben sind top auch beim Fotodruck, Geschwindigkeit Geräusch und vor allen Dingen Farbverbrauch sind spitze. Nach circa 200 Seiten sind die Tanks noch fast voll. Der hohe Preis lohnt sich tatsächlich, zumindest wenn man gerne Farbfotos druckt.
Une belle grosse bête à apprivoiser....
Un peu surpris au départ de recevoir un colis avec le carton Epson et juste une étiquette pour le transport. Economie de carton de transport, moins d'emballage ok mais vraies craintes quand on voit le colis au milieu des autres au relais dépôt. Pas de choc apparent sur l'emballage, surprise au déballage ???Plutôt bien protégé. Une notice pour déballer. En respectant la notice pas de problème si ce n'est se munir d'une grosse boite de "patience" à consommer dès que l'on commence à décoller tous les petits adhésifs bleus qui solidarisent les pièces mobiles au bâti pour le transport. Si vous avez déjà fini la première boite de "patience", éventuellement en commencer une deuxième pour l'installation des drivers, remplissages des réservoirs d'encre et premiers tests de calibration. En respectant les consignes, je pense avoir mis plus d'une heure notamment par peur de se tromper.Mais la première édition de photos et l'édition d'un rapport de 22 pages ont vraiment fait oublier cette mise en route un peu laborieuse. Très belle qualité d'édition pour tous les types de documents imprimés.Maintenant impression de CD / DVD imprimables, raison principale de mon choix d'achat. Mais où est donc le support de CD. Heureusement, avec la notice de la machine récupérée sur Internet, je trouve le support de CD / DVD sous le bac à feuilles. Je vais tenter une impression avec mon logiciel habituel, Ashampoo Burning Studio 25, pour l'impression de mes CD/ DVD / Blu ray. Au moment de choisir l'imprimante, pas de trace de l'EPSON ET 8500. Après quelques tentatives, je trouve un modèle universel EPSON qui va bien. Et là encore, sans modification des réglages du logiciel ou de l'imprimante, une super qualité d'édition sur la face de Bluray VerbatimDonc vous l'aurez compris , très satisfait de mon achat qui remplace une autre EPSON , une XP 625 qui m'avait donné toute satisfaction et que j'ai remplacé après 3 ou quatre changements de tampons encreurs réalisés gratuitement par Epson et la société Maintronic à Bordeaux. Alors, j'espère que la "grosse" dernière va durer autant que sa "petite" cousine abandonnée après des années de bons et loyaux services.
