MY FIRST QUICK COOK TEST!Rice separates beautifully. See my Katsu fridge raid veg curry pic!For this quick testing to gauge it's initial performance , I simply used one chefs ladle of rice into a big saucepan, add running cold water and rinse a couple minutes.Fill pan with cold water, 1 inch from top of pan, salt water, stir with silicone spatula, lid on , high heat .Bring water to a rapid boil.Be around to catch boiling point .When rapidly boiling stir gently with spatula, TURN HEAT OFF.Put The Lid back On, time x4 minutes. After time , stir gently again, then drain in colander, let the rice rest for 15 minutes in the colander, put a lid on the colander, (anything to trap the residual steam of the hot rice , as that steam will finish it off cooking and aid perfect separation)You can cook a quick Katsu curry in that time. "Yes Chef!" ๐It's the first time I used Katsu curry paste too. Easy quick. Very economical. (Bulk buy 10 packs)As pic shows , the rice has lovely separate grains , you do not need to nudge these rice grains around to separate ,they just get on with it themselves! I'll be buying more prime week.I'll also do a video when I next cook it at weekend. This does cost a few quid more but , if you like decent rice that performs , you of course deserve it. It's still excellent value and nutrition. ๐ยฃ16 for 10 kilo bag prime week, is a very good price for the quality you get. I intend to buy another 20 kilos this week.Thank you seller and Bolo.
