The height, stability, quality and sturdiness make this unit perfect for what I wanted. It looks great and fits just right in the space I needed it to fit.The review will be updated with a photo when I am done organising.Also, the price was right.

A useful bookcase that takes about an hour to construct but follow the instructions carefully and make certain the nails are in exactly the right place before hammering in or they will split the inside wood. The piece looks fine and provides useful storage but it’s not the same as a fully wooden case. Still, it’s cheap enough.

This was so much better than expected. You get what you pay for right? This feels like I got a little more for my money. Easy to put together and perfect for the small space we had. Holds a large number of paperbacks. Aiming to buy a second for another nook!

Overall, these bookcases are acceptable for the price, but there are a few details that prospective buyers should be aware of.Firstly, the product description doesn’t mention that the shelves are not fully finished—only the tops are covered in melamine, which results in an inconsistent look. I bought two units, and they see, to be a slightly different shades of white; one shelf even has a slight yellow tint.The supplied screws were another issue. I felt they were too short and weak, and didn’t sit flush with the surface. I ended up removing them, countersinking the holes, and replacing them with 45mm wood screws. Unfortunately, no caps were provided, so the screwheads are still visible.I probably could have returned them, but I’m on a tight schedule to complete my project and have already overspent on other furniture. Now that the shelves are loaded with books and various items, they look a bit better and feel more stable. That said, I still wish I’d been able to invest in something a bit higher quality.

These shelves are made from very thin wood. There are no dowels or similar supports for the shelves, simply the screws which come in from the sides. I made the mistake of leaning on these shelves as I stood up from putting a book back and they splintered apart, and the screw made a deep cut in my arm.

Not recommended: no screws and really bad quality shelfs. You need a bunch of screws to make the cabinet, but they were not included. And the shelfs are from recycled wood splinters that immediately break when you do not screw 100% straight.Really not recommended.

We liked the way it is built, but the Manufacture sent a "floor" model, to get the sale. How can you tell? Well, the entire unit was very dirty inside the box, there was a "damaged" piece and you could tell that it was repackaged by the tape job on the shipping box. Sad about this. :-(
