My wife is an acrylic artist, along with a crafter of various other skills, but she does like to make a mess in her studio. We also have an adventurous border collie who will regularly jump up onto her desk and paddle her way through any palete tray left unguarded.She's been using these disposable palete papers for a few weeks now, and generally her comments have been very positive. They're very useful, and saves on washing up. What she did also say though was that for the kind of painting she does she still thinks that a traditional rigid plastic palette is preferable. She uses quite bold colours, and generally only a few at a time with little mixing of shades, and she can work on the same paiting for some time. As such the convenience of the disposable papers are perhaps not as beneficial to her.But, if you are someone who mixes a large volume of colours, and cleaning up is a pain, then there is certainly much to like here.

Just what I needed
This is the first time I used a palette for my water-based paints. I found the product a very good value for the money and has "upped my game" as I practice at being a better painter.

The tear off palette is larger than others which influenced my purchase. The sheets are a bit thin which isn't a problem until moisture seeps around the cut-out which causes the sheets underneath to buckle.
