So far I am very pleased with my purchase.The unit is smaller than I thought it would be, but in fact looks nice that it is so small/compact.Took a while to set up as the instruction manual is minimalist to say the least, but it wasn't too difficult and in about 20 mins I had pre-set several digital radio channels and two alarms.The sound quality is very good for such a small unit. I wake up to digital Smooth radio, and snooze as many times as I like. You can select how long you want the alarm to run for, so when you hit your final snooze, the alarm will continue to run for the time you have selected (15mins/30mins/45mins/60mins/90mins), before it switches off (or you switch it off manually).The display is clear, large and bright. It takes a single tap to turn the display down, and each tap makes it darker, I think it has about 5 levels of brightness. To get it back to full brightness just keep tapping.All in all, so far so good. I am very happy and it is very easy to use. Looks great in my bedroom. The added ease of having a usb port at the back means I can charge my phone, plug in my fan, etc, all from one unit.

Excellent and compact little unit, good reception on fm , digital took a bit of work as it seems to pick up interference from other electronic devices but with a bit of distance that was sorted. 2 alarms that can be set with different volumes. Alarms comes on with increasing volume to the volume set and independent of the radios master volume. Only downside is that if you want to see the clock during the day it’s very bright but at a level that is good for sleeping it’s barely visible in bright light

Small but powerful There is a need to read the instructions carefully as it's quite difficult to set up at first. The dimmable clock etc could have been better calibrated. Good value for money

The one good point:The DAB radio alarm comes on very quietly, gently rising to normal volume so it doesn't startle you first thing.BAD POINTS:Instructions difficult to follow.Buttons on the top are small and difficult to read.Time display is extremely feint. I'm sure it wasn't so feint when I first had it but now it's practically impossible to read it in normal daylight.It's pot luck whether I get the nice sound of the radio waking me up or the beeping alarm! Now today the beeping alarm decided it didn't want to stop at the set time. It's still beeping now 3 hours later!I haven't changed any of the settings and live on my own so the settings for the alarm and display brightness definitely haven't been tampered with.

I returned this alarm clock because it is too complicated to usePros:Nice soundClock synched over radioAppearanceDisplay dimmerCons:The instructions are next to useless. After spending some time trying to understand them I gave up and started pressing or holding buttons randomly until I worked out how it was supposed to be set up.After setting up an alarm, to amend it you have to go through the full setup again requiring 6+ button presses. It's the same to disable an alarm.

Bought for the guest bedroom, compact, smart and well priced. Allows fitment of x2 AAA to preserve settings on loss of mains power. Once powered with mains plug/lead and aerial extended the radio auto configured date and time, then pressing scan setup all detected stations with amazing clarity. It was so easy to setup straight from the box. Sound quality is good.

Robust build & good sound, even with headphones. Nice info display choices, basically on or off brightness. Charges my Samsung mobile fine. Like radio sleep timer up to 90 minutes. Good alarm & snooze, no toggle alarm on/off button - all settngs. Took me an evening to work out all controls, picks up dozens of dab/+ stations & ~ 10 FM, can preset your favs, & 'prune out' weak radio signals. Worth going into system settings can change clock/date formats, recieve updates, do a factory reset etc., time sets automatically but can do manually. Like all controls in one place, but a bit like braile getting right button, front would be better if tilted & visible when in bed. Battery back up. Good purchase!

I once heard Douglas Adams (RIP) say to a packed hall that until a product was as intuitive as a cup, it was still a prototype. Never was this more true than with this clock radio. Such promise: small size, good sound quality - but with an interface and instruction pamphlet that utterly ruins it. If I could return it, I would.That's not to say there aren't some good features: I like the brightness and auto time settings. The sound clarity is reasonably good for such a small unit, but no care has been taken with the human interface - hard to imagine Apple making the same mistakes.Here are some examples: the latency between using a button and the associated action is too long, so you really have to slow down when you're trying to set things up. The text display is horrible - like a 1970's calculator, and so difficult to read. You can't apparently change the volume once the alarm has sounded: the volume reverts to the level you programmed and no amount of trying to turn it down works. The list goes on.If you're thinking the instructions should help, I'm afraid they don't - not really. In an attempt to save paper, and make the instructions suitable for readers of multiple languages, each task is "explained" with a short paragraph and a diagram - completely inadequate given the complexity of the product.Very disappointed with what could have been a great product with a bit more care and attention given to the interface design. As it stands, this will be going on eBay and we'll be using Alexa in future.
