I bought it for our 35 year old Austin Metro and for a general purpose cover it is a really good fit. It is easy to fit and remove and the zip opener for the drivers door is really handy to access vehicle without removing cover. I have used it for 4 months and the car is always bone dry despite some really heavy rain. It has also withstood two severe storms including storm Darragh which uprooted one of my trees but despite 90mph gusts the cover remained firmly in place. Fantastic product. Great value.

Listed as having five layers seems dubious unless one counts the reflective strips. It seems to have the waterproof layer and the cotton backing. The image shows one of several areas of holes in the fabric, this one probably caused by accidental stitching where it was not required. I did not consider it worth going for refund or replacement as we were so glad to deploy it and save time and effort as well as the cost of de-icer and its effect on the environment. We knotted the four straps into loops and secured them around the wheel spokes with bungee cords, making for quick fitting and removal. The cover is good in having the door mirror sleeves and with these having reflective strips as well as the front and rear of the cover.After snow and ice had covered the cover, it was easy to brush off and then to remove the cover, and stow it indoors before driving away. The alternative of de-icer, brushing and scraping would have taken much longer. Since our garage is full of other stuff, this cover is a very useful alternative. After drying it, it is just about possible to roll it up and pack it in its valise, but it is a tight fit. We have not used the long straps. It is not cheap but well worth the money contrasted against the cheaper, flimsy vinyl covers that are not tailored to fit so well and are nothing like as durable.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this car cover 14 months ago, mainly to protect my SEAT Ateca from the pigeon poo and autumn leaves falling from the tree above it. It is very effective for that. For some reason the pigeon poo seems to stick to it much less than it did to the car paint. The cover as weathered several storms, including the one last night, and is still in good condition after over a years use.I have never bothered with the two separate straps provided to throw over the cover and tie to the wheels. So the cover has only been held on by the sewn-in tie straps provided next to each wheel. One pair of straps has started to pull away from the cover so I have re-inforced it with gaffer tape (visible at the start of the video). If I had taken the time to use the long straps over the cover I doubt this would have been needed. I would have prefered that the straps had been velcro so I didn't have tie and antie them. If they get wet and then freze they are hard to untie.I like the soft felt lining that gives the cover more body and makes it easier to pull over the car.Also the reflective strips on the wing mirror pockets help to orientate the cover as you are pulling it on over the car.The velcro opening down the drivers side is also handy to get into the car to recover any left items without taking the cover off, though the cover straps still need to be untied to allow the door to open.I see that the current Bolo price is the same as when I bought it (£49.99). Puzzlingly Bolo now has a red boxed "This does not fit Seat Ateca..." notice at the top of the entry, and directs me to more expensive alternatives. I would say that this cover is a (generous) fit for the Seat Ateca. Ideally it would be tighter, but if mine becomes damaged I will buy the same again.

I am really impressed with this great value cover. It fits my car really well (MK1 Golf - if anyone with a MK1 is thinking about this it fits well) and has some really surprising features including the integrated hold down straps which and sturdy and long enough to tie to alloys. The zip is really handy for access meaning you don't have to remove the cover to get access to the car. The reflective strips and bold and bright if you are parking on the street and the elasticated elements at the back and front are tight and strong.Through the cold snap it has performed really well, held tight in the winds (I live on a hill on the top of a windy valley) and the car is dry and clean. There was some criticism in reviews I saw before purchase about quality of some elements but I don't wholly agree. I maybe expected the inner lining to be softer in my mind but is probably more about my expectations than the reality of such a great value cover and it is a lining which appears kind on paintwork.For product development I would probably recommend that version 2.0 would include a velcro flap over the zip but as it stands the zip is performing well and I don't have evidence of any water leaking in via the one here.Overall I think this is a great solution and such good value. Im very impressed and will buy again.

Bought this cover for my VW Golf mk7 as I have a leaking sunroof I need to keep dry till sold and this fits perfectly! Seems to be keeping my car dry and is also very quick drying the water just falls off the cover ! We are experiencing some strong winds at the moment and it looks very sturdy there’s ties to tie onto the wheels and also two long straps which I have tied together to go over the top and under the car to keep the cover in place, there is also a zip on the drivers side incase you forget to take something out! Overall after having this cover a week Iam very impressed with it for the price, if you are experiencing a leak on your hatchback this is a great option for the time being.
