The installation instructions are really easy to follow and the set up was easy too.I’m using an IPhone with mine. The functions on this unit are awesome. wired or wireless connection, with wired you can actually charge you phone up too. You can play music from your phone or Spotify whilst using Apple maps or Google MapsSplit screen enables you to use Satnav appsand also see music playing at the same time.You can also switch to screen mirror mode and watch videos too, I've watched YouTube on mine, I’ve not tested it myself but I would think you could watch Netflix on it if you wanted too.In my Audi A3 you can use the steering wheel voice control button for Siri to select Nav destination or search for music, and you can use the centre console knob and buttons to navigate through your phone apps.It really is hard to see how this could be bettered!!

I’ve had this since September and has improved my experience with the car massively makes it feel more modern and stylish. Could never use the original car system again.😂 as it feels outdated. Very rare occasion it will disconnect from my phone but otherwise fine. One thing I would like to know is how do I enable the HDMI port?

Easy to install but quality is bad, not worth the price. Installed and most things didn’t work properly

Firstly it seems like a nice well made kit .. the looms are very well made and fit well .. what doesn’t fit well is the black box behind the dash … ended up leaving it in the glove box as it’s quite big and the leafs are quite big with plugs and there is no where to fit it … seems to work well, few issues, instructions say on the Audi s3 8v you click the voice button on dash and Siri works however it fires up both Siri and the Audi voice system, also you should be able to turn down navigation voice volume while it’s speaking which you can however it does not separate this volume from music so I have music loud enough then navigation shouts through the speakers … don’t get me wrong it does the job and saves getting Audi to update my maps but there is a few compromises

Works like it should was a bit fiddly to put/ just one thing when restarts loses the memory what song it was playing have to start from beginning hope this helps or maybe there’s a setting that I could change any help

I wish I had done this sooner, it has upgraded my 2016 S3 so that it is better than my friends 2018 one.I’ve never liked virtual cockpits and the hidden multimedia screen is such a sleek way to have your set up if you don’t need it up.It works very well with the Audi mmi wheel too, not clunky or anything at all. No drawbacks.I’d recommend watching videos on the install on YouTube as you can have it mounted super neat behind the air on running the wire housing down the back of the glove box.So so happy I did it….and cheaper than any spec option done through Audi, saved over £1000 doing this !

It works really good but, the instructions are applying. Written in Cinlglish! I consider myself a technical person but took me a morning to figure out how to get it working.The system is great when you have it all worked out.
5.0 out of 5 stars Added CarPlay to an Audi S3 Cab in 1 hour
This product is amazing - great quality device and cables. Super clear instructions. Remove 8 screws to drop the glovebox unplug 4 cables from the back of the audio head unit and plug in this box. Screw the glove box back in. Job done. Done in under 1 hour and works exactly like my wife’s SQ2 factory car play but wireless! You can’t go wrong.
