This tastes great and tastes (to me at least) pretty much the same as any other sugar based maple flavoured syrup but without the blood sugar spikes. However, one thing to be aware of is the fact it's mostly malitol which means this product is not really suitable for those with a sensitivity to it. For myself, consuming more than a modest amount can result in side effects (bloating and gas) but for me, it's worth it. Another downside is that it is expensive - I don't know whether this is down to greed on the manufacturers part or the inherent cost of production but it's definitely in the treat / guilty pleasure category for me.

High protein pancakes are my weekend brunch treat but it is easy to sabotage plans with calorific syrups. Not this one. I can eat enough on my pancakes to feel satisfied and even better it tastes as close to the real thing as possible which means no weird artificial sweetener aftertaste. It is worth noting that it is not calorie free ( see pictures). Well worth the expensive price though.

Diabetic here👋Love my Maple Syrup! So when I was diagnosed a few months ago I was sad☹️Then I found this! Hooray!😃If anyone says it’s runny….it’s far from runny I promise. I put in fridge yesterday. Took it out to pour over my sausage and it’s beautifully thick and lusciously gorgeous! The sauce not my sausage 🤭 A dream! Smokey, caramel, toffee gorgeousness. I honestly could not Taste the difference. So that’s me. #puresweet for me from now on. Belting👍🏴

Not diabetic friendly, not keto, and not eligible for return. Read all the info carefully before ordering. I didn't and it will have to go in the bin as Malitol WILL raise your blood sugar level.
