Incredible sound, I find them very comfortable very lightweight. The sound quality is superb but a little lacking in sub bass, compared to the Sony xm4 which have an incredible sub base sound. The overall sound is absolutely superb with the Sony, but I love the look of the Bangs They are as classy as they get. I do find that the B & O app doesn't really give you any real creativity. I would much prefer a traditional, graphic equaliser with sliders and not the preset dial thing, I like to be able to turn up the sub bass to give me that moving almost undetectable, feeling you get with good quality, very low bass (Sony xm4) does this so well.. I do have B & O Tower speakers at home and they sound superb, but they to suffer with a little lack of bassI don't think I would've paid £400 for these. I think £265 is enough I don't think you can go wrong with these at all. I have listened to a lot of audiophile tracks on Bolo Prime and they are absolutely incredible, especially playing classical, you can hear every stroke of the violin and the intake of breath from the performers.. I have an update on these incredible headphones, I have managed to tune them just right for a full subbase experience, I left these running for a few hours with a 5hz to 20hz sloping signal going through these at full volume, and I can tell you that the drivers seem to have improved the bass response, I have heard something like this been done before with speakers and it’s true, they need to be worn in a little bit

I previously had B&O's H8s which I absolutely loved. Decided to treat myself to a new pair. Thr HX'S are gorgeous in a really smart Carry Case. 40 hours of use on a charge. Sound is just superb. Beautifully built and so comfortable. Treated myself in the mid-July Bolo Sale. Very pleased.

I love these headphones, they are comfy to wear and the sound is brilliant. With the app you have loads of different options on how you like your music to sound. The colour (timber) is lovely. There is just one thing that is a bit annoying… the volume up and down, you have to put your finger on the ear cup and swirl it around to operate the volume and it is so hard to get to the right volume, also to skip to the next song is a swipe with your finger on the ear cup which also does not respond very well, sometimes you have to swipe 3 or 4 times to get it to work. I wish it had a one button operation like my old Marshalls. Other than that they are great headphones.

I had the bang and olufsen h4 headphone for about 3-4 years, sound quality never let me down. The only reasons I had to switch is since the h4 leather starting to show signes of wear and tear due to daily usage. Then got those on special, and omg they solved all the probleme that I did not realised I had with the H4. 2 device can be paired thus seamless switch from phone to laptop, I constantly use the noise canceling, and when I remouved them it pause automaticaly 👌 They are very confortable and feel like they will also last me quite a long time.

They are so beautiful, with luxurious materials, comfortable, and all, as expected.BUT:- completely useless if you wish to work on MS teams or make calls. That’s not what they are for. These are for listening to music.- The sound is very good but not as good as in Bowers and Wilkins PX7 (still better than the rest though)- The ear cushions are not as padded as in Beoplay H4 (H4 is more comfortable and over all better looking)- The finger controls on the side of the earcups are just terrible, mostly useless.Bring back buttons or make this work better.- multi pairing doesn’t work as it should. It messes up connections, volumes, stays connected when they are supposed to be off, etc.Try a pair of Poly Bluetooth headphones and you will experience good calls and good multi pairing (but you won’t look as cool as with these beoplay HX!!!).- ANC is basically useless. My Jabra Elite 75 have much more effective noise cancellation. The difference between having ANC on or off is so little that I could never tell what mode was active

The headphones arrived in the afternoon, and by the following day, I had boxed them up and sent them back for a refund.Upon unboxing, I was disappointed to find that key features of the headphones, such as the touch controls and the wear sensors, were not functioning as expected. The touch controls, which should have allowed me to play/pause and adjust the volume, were unresponsive. Similarly, the wear sensors, designed to pause media when the headphones are removed, were not working. The sound quality was okay, but the noise cancelling could have been better.I enquired with Bang & Olufsen support, who informed me that there is currently a software error that has been outstanding for a while, and they have no timescales for getting it fixed and released. I didn't find this response acceptable for the price I paid them.One positive piece of feedback for Bang & Olufsen is that the support team continued to try to assist me even after I told them that I had returned the headphones. They were professional and helpful throughout whilst trying to get me a resolution.

Balanced design and sound.
These sound as beautiful as they look. They are incredibly clean-sounding, with more than enough bass for me. I came from Beats headphones, so the more subtle bass is much appreciated. The app has an intuitive, one-finger EQ. These fit my ears great, though if you have larger ears because they are round, they may not be comfortable. They are very light weight, and I forget I am wearing them. The noise cancellation is average. These headphones allow me to hear details and sounds I missed in recordings so I've been rediscovering all of my music. The controls are intuitive, and I appreciate the auto-off/start function when you remove or place the headphones on your head. The volume controls took a while to get used to because they require a little more pressure than I'm used to for capacitive touch-type interfaces. I believe that B&O has decided to create headphones that reach a perfectly balanced amount of non-fatiguing, detailed sound with reduced cabin pressure to make headphones that seemingly disappear. Premium products focus on the whole experience, not just certain aspects. These headphones feel, look and sound premium.
