Great look and quality hardware
In addition to the rolling ladder hardware I purchased an additional three sections. The result looks great and I’m happy with the quality of the wheels and like that the rollers slide up so you can store the ladder when not in use. I only had one issue but the seller resolved quickly. The stop pieces that slide onto ends have a screw that tightens with an Allen wrench but the powder coating has fused the tip of the screw to the base and I eventually stripped it trying to get it to budge. I emailed the seller and they shipped me two more and those worked fine. I did not have any issues with the screws that some reviews mentioned so they may be better quality now. Make sure to drill pilot holes.
Very good product
The product received was as described. The instruction sheet however is a little sparse on detail so you may need to do some roller fitting prior to fastening down. The hardware is sturdy. Once installed, it seems very unlikely that the rollers would slip or fail with a person on the ladder. The rail screws are a little short. I replaced them with longer screws for more secure attachment to the wall. I also contacted the seller for an issue I thought I had but turned out I had misplaced a couple items. In any case, the seller responded quickly to correct my perceived issue. I'm extremely satisfied with the product and the customer service I received.
Strong, beautiful, but difficult to assemble
Difficult to assemble because of mounting hole placement in the wheels. You have to disassemble the wheels to put the mounting screw in. Sounds easy enough until you realize the wheels have a bearing/washer/barrel nut assembly that must go back together for the wheel to function correctly. I'm a mechanical engineer so figured everything out fairly straight away, but was shocked when I pulled the bolt out and the whole assembly exploded on me. Must be a better way of doing this so you don't need to disassemble the wheels.
Pricey but would recommend
Even though it was a little pricey it definitely looks and does exactly what I want it to. The only issue I had with this is that the wheels that go on rail are a little unstable when climbing them so I had to add a stopper to them in order for them not to move around while climbing.
Would recommend this ladder to anyone easy installation and very durable.
