After Tigi discontinued the Hard To Get blue ball product I’ve tried loads of gels and waxes but this is the closest thing to it I’ve found. Lovely smell, nice consistency, warm it up in your hands before applying and it leaves hair smooth & shiny and tames the flyaways! Small pot so ideal for travelling but you don’t need to use much so think it will last a long time. Really nice product, would definitely recommend.

I was looking for a product from bed head tigi as I always bought the product inside the ball but cannot find it anywhere's but then I did and the price was ridiculous, so I bought a couple of there products and this one is almost identical because of the hardness and durability and at a reasonable price too the other I have reviewed which was wetter product but they have both ended up (once you run your hands through ) giving me the natural look I’m after , this is a few pound dearer but both excellent and this has a nice lemon fragrance

I bought this matte hair wax paste to help control my unruly hair and to help me try out different hair styles. I have quite long hair which has traditionally been difficult to style, and this was going to help me change that. I’ve tried various gels and mousses in the past.I like the design of the jar this comes in, and when you open the lid you’re greeted with a pleasant citrus smell - it doesn’t smell overly pungent or fake like some other gels I’ve tried.The instructions on the advert make it look quite easy to apply, but I wasn’t ready for just how stiff the paste is - it’s like handling clay. You really need to spread it between your hands to thin it out before applying.I will say that for fine hair I don’t think this does the job well, because it needs a good amount of hair to hold on to. It did shape my hair well enough, and the effect lasted well into the evening which was good. This is definitely a product where a little goes a long way.I can’t complain about the price, especially considering how long each tub is likely going to last, but it’s a bit greasy and tough to get started with.

I use this on my 5 year old lad, it makes his hair smell amazing, it's not too heavy on the hair, doesn't make it look greasy and a little bit goes a long way! Thanks!

This is an amazing product. I have had mine since February & I maybe have gone through half in 4 months. I have a short sassy pixie & this does whatever I want my hair to do. I have a lot of hair & it’s coarse. I will continue to purchase. I’ve tried the blue manipulator one too. But I like this one better. I recommend this.

The only product my son and nephew use

My son has extremely thick, full and dark hair. My nephew has very thin blonde hair. Both of them swear by this product. My only problem? You can NEVER find it on the shelves in the area I live. There is always this big black hole where the matte manipulator should be.I bit the bullet and started paying full price on Bolo due to the fact that it's such a popular product. It is evident it's one of the most versatile, well liked hair styling tools for men. I can't speak from personal experience, but as I said, it's evident. I have two teenage boys who can't live without it and a bunch of empty shelves where it should be.The only negative comment, which has nothing to do with the product itself. One time during the shipping process, it had that large sticker seal on it so it made the cap sticky when removed. The next time it was only shipped in bubble wrap. No leaks and much cleaner. I didn't have to bust out the goo gone.One thing I will mention. With this paste, I'm advised that less is more. If you put on too much, your hair will just look greasy. It will have a flexible hold with no dandruff looking gel crust.And the best part. It smells so damn good.
