As head honcho at Pork Scratching World, I taste a lot of pork scratchings, crackling and crunch and these really hit the sweet spot. With a selection of flavours, the pack is a great way of seeing what works best for you.The packets are colour coded, so it's easy to see what you're going for. Each packet I've had so far has contained a good mix of big, chunky pieces, medium and cute, small nibbles. They're in the light, modern style, but still with a decent crunch to them. Lots of crispy meat on a good proportion of the pieces and nothing excessively hard nor too airy. Flavourings are good, without being excessive and there's a pleasant amount of tasty dust left to dip your finger on to finish.Chorizo has a fairly authentic sweet paprika colour and flavour,Honey and mustard isn't over sweet nor hot.Peri peri is fairly hot but has a decent kick without being just for the heat fiend.BBQ Bacon Rib isn't as excessively sweet as some BBQ effortsOriginal is straight down the line without being too salty.Highly recommended and the match of many of the other new kids on the block, so it's great to see high standards all round on the new ones.

Amazing product they are SO GOOD. Definitely easy on the teeth, as they state, but a really enjoyable product and cooked in its own fat (no seed oils).Some flavours however are considerably better than others, salt and vinegar for instance is amazing and just like a decent strong packet of crisps salt and vinegar crisps for flavour delivery, but sadly Ham and Mustard misses the mark for flavour impact, I wanted Brannigans type flavour but I was left wanting. Also BBQ is lacking in flavour impact, my partner despises BBQ but I gave her some blind and she couldn’t even tell me what flavour it was. Peri peri is okay but lacking impact a bit, Chorizo is really nice.

We first found these in a shop in Barmouth while on holiday,they are the best so came home and ordered them in bulk. All the flavours are nice there not too fatty tasting well made good portion size, light and crunchy would highly recommend and will be ordering again. Next day delivery so not long to wait for next fix.

I used to buy Mr Tubs pork scratchings until the prices went so far through the roof they just weren't worth buying anymore, so I switched to these as they sounded similar. I got a mixed flavour box last week and have tried 4 of the flavours and I have to say, they're not nice. The original ones are lovely, every bit as nice as the Mr Tubs ones but the flavoured ones are unpleasant. They're far too strong, the honey mustard is overbearing with the mustard flavour, the Chorizo just tastes like hot chilli and burns your mouth, the Peri peri are the same, too strong and spicy, I haven't tried the rib or salt and vinegar ones yet but I'm not looking forward to them. I'm really disappointed in these. They're nice and crunchy and as I say, the original ones are as nice as any pork scratchings I've had but the flavoured ones, not so much. I don't know what I'm going to do with the rest of them because I can only see myself eating the original ones, an expensive treat considering there's only 3 packets in a box, the rest I'll either have to try and give away or throw in the bin unfortunately. :(

Tastes like ass. I'm not kidding, these are truly horrible. Most are soft and not crunchy, and they taste burnt, even with the various different flavours. I'd give 0/5 if possible.This is not the crackling you're looking for.

After the notion (or hankering if you will) for pork scratchings came creeping around the corner again I did a little delving and came across The Posh Pig. A quick check of the reviews and can safely say Mrs Pearson hit the nail on the head that these are for Pork Scratching Fans. They are not my new #1 scratchings because I prefer things a little bit crunchier but the flavours are superb.I purchased the 18 mixed case and it's safe to say I was not disappointed!Original - Could do with a bit more salt but bang onBBQ Bacon Rib - Sweet and savoury saucy goodnessSalt & Vinegar - The best flavouring for pork scratchings in the worldHoney Mustard - The best Honey Mustard seasoning you could have, not too strong not too subtle.Peri Peri - Good flavour and good heat, but not for me.Chorizo - Smokey and tasty, but not for me.If you're tempted to try these, do it.
