I'll be honest: I have no use for decaf. Give me the full strength coffee or tea every time. However, it's not just me in the world, is it? No. A fellow might have a wife, for example. That wife might insist on a teapot that combines a strong loose leaf Assam with a bit of decaf to take the edge off. A fellow might say but darling, we've spent a lot of money on that fine loose leaf Assam from our favourite specialty shop in Edinburgh, it would be kind of a shame to dilute it with decaf TEABAGS for goodness sake. And that fellow's wife might give him a look and that fellow might go ahead and add those decaf teabags.And what I can tell you is, these decaf teabags do not ruin a pot of tea. I'm no longer even tempted to pretend that I put them in. I really put them in. It's fine. The tea is good. They're not harsh or bland. Even on their own, without the fine loose leaf Assam, they're lovely and drinkable. I tested that one time. If you need decaf teabags, I reckon these are about as good as they get.

The media could not be loaded. I was in a bit of a predicament earlier this year as I figured out after going on holiday that caffeine was making me tired and effecting my sleep but at the same time I didn't want to switch to a decaf tea as I'd heard about how bad it was for you because of the chemicals used to take the caffeine out of tea. That was until I researched and discovered there was a safer and natural method by using carbon dioxide and one of the only two brands in the U.K. that seem to use this method is Clipper!I wasn't sure what to expect when I first tried the Clipper Organic Everyday Decaf Tea Bags as I've never liked any tea that wasn't Tetley but I wanted to give it a try and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't find it tasted a lot different at all.When making a cup of tea it is a lot lighter in colour than the regular tea I'd been drinking but I don't find that it tastes as weak as it looks. I was worried it was going to be like milky water with how some people in the reviews were mentioning they needed two tea bags so I was pleased not to find it this way in my opinion.I really like that the tea bags are organic, biodegradable and made from natural ingredients as I was aware that normal tea bags weren't great with what they are made from but I wasn't concerned enough to make a switch so now I get the best of both, a good tea bag and a caffeine free tea (well not completely caffeine free as around 0.2% remains in the tea bag but that's better than the alternatives!)The one thing that does annoy me about the tea bags are that they come in twos and you have to break them apart from the perforation. With the tea bags being more delicate than other brands (which I assume is due to them being biodegradable) it means that I seem to end up ripping one tea bag in each box however careful I am. I wouldn't mind this if it only happened every now and then but they are quite pricey to start with when you only get 40 in a box so it's frustrating to lose a tea bag because there's no way it could be fixed.Other than this slight issue I am really happy with this decaf tea and I think I will stick to buying the Clipper brand in the future as it seems to be a great company for natural and organic products which seem to be rare to find in the range of drink products available these days.

I usually love Clipper’s teas. When I decided to start drinking decaf my obvious choice was Clipper. I decided to buy the double pack. If you enjoy tea that is made with a single dunk of a tea bag then you will probably like this tea. But if you enjoy tea for its taste then don’t buy this, it’s tasteless.Value for money - no.Quality - poor.Colour - poor.

I’ve bought Clipper decaf tea for years - it’s the best tasting decaf & I like the natural processing they use. My local supermarkets don’t do it so always bought on Bolo. Recently I could only buy the individually wrapped - uses unnecessary paper & most of the bags open at the top so my cup is swimming with tea leaves. Such a shame

Since I have cut out caffeine, this is the best tea I have found so far that fills that void in my life. I do need 2 teabags and the price is not that cheap when you compare to other teas. Although it is organic tea, the bags are natural with no plastics. I was close to deducting a star but I really believe 5 is fair as this is the best decaf I have found, other than it being slightly on the weak side. Clipper, perhaps put a bit more in each bag? You have a winner here and you will dominate the decaf market, especially if you do that!
