The mat is made from a thick chenille and although it looks like you have some sort of bath mat by your door it somehow captures mud and moisture as your pet walks over it. Now I'm not having to wash our tiled floor daily in the winter from muddy dog paw prints. It's good quality and machine washable. It's so soft that one of our dogs always lays on it thinking it's some sort of dog bed! Comes in a variety of sizes and colours - I bought 3 of them to use around the house - not suitable for outdoor use, excellent value for money would definitely recommend if you have pets!

Why did you choose this product over others?:I wanted a better quality, more durable mat for inside my back door and decided a Muddy Mat was my best option. It certainly has lived up to my expectations and doesn’t slide around the tiles like previous mats. It looks neat and tidy and does trap any dirt walked in from outside. I would definitely buy another.

Nice rug, stays in place and catches the dirt nicely. Only criticism is it’s slightly smaller than the measurements quoted. 80cm was actually 77cm.

I bought two of these doormats in different sizes for my front and rear bifold doors to end the muddy carnage that two springer spaniels were having on my floors.They are very thick and absorb water and mud from paws. The sizes I bought fit my doorways perfectly and they look great. I’ve not had them for long but they seem to be thick and durable.The really big plus is I’m not mopping the floors every time my dogs come inside because the rugs work and are big enough for them to sit on whilst getting dried off.

Ordered the charcoal mat but seems more black/blue but it’s a minor point. Placed by the back door it is very effective at preventing muddy paws all over the kitchen tiles. It’s much more effective than the mat we were using. We have the 24”x36” mat which is large enough for our Frenchie and seems well made, with a not slip backing. It’s also able to fit on the washing machine which was a plus as the our existing mat will only fit in a commercial washer.

Purchased grey/Charcoal received Navy Blue, would have had to pay return postage so kept. Had another previously and is very good and washable.

Price a bit steep but does the job. Bought the grey one as have light grey carpet in the extension. Haven't washed it yet as need to get another one to put down while it is being cleaned, or wait until the better weather. Looks okay. Seems to be quite durable. Good size. Good quality. My cat hated it though! For weeks he wouldn't walk on it and made every attempt to jump over it through the back door! Made us laugh! He's okay now though so don't panic.
