The medium setting is perfect for me, frozen bread toast crisp but not dried out on the frozen bread setting. Crumpets and tea cakes toast well and evenly on low. It is of a sturdy build and stays firmly in place while using all the functions, the levers go down and pop-up easily. The design looks really nice and the blue light-up feature is useful to see that the toaster is on and hot. The crumb trays work efficiently and there are no crumbs collecting underneath the toaster on the worksurface. The cable tidy works well and you can have a short or a longer cable. I particularly like that there is no annoying groove around the top of the toaster for crumbs to collect, it is nice and smooth around the top. For anyone who is partially sighted, the dial has a groove of an arrow that you can feel and you can clearly hear clicks from 0 to choose your desired setting, the three buttons above the turning dial light up and can be easily found. Some might find the toaster to be quite deep on the work surface, so maybe check the measurements are right for you. 10/10 to Morphy Richard for this toaster!

After reading the Which? reviews, I purchased what is considered the Best Buy for a 4-slice toaster. It does a great job of toasting bread both regular and extra tall sizes. However, in our household at least, we like different levels of toasting. I prefer my toast to be nice and brown and my wife and kids like a light tan. Unfortunately this toaster only has one dial to control the level of toasting for all four slices, which is a little frustrating. However, I won't return the item as the pros far outweigh the cons.Overall, I'm pleased with this toaster, despite the single toasting control.

By far the most attractive toaster we’ve ever had, the blue light feature really does make it stand out. Easy to use and toasts bread evenly. Big plus point is the top that doesn’t have any grooves for the crumbs to get stuck in which has always been a problem with every toaster we’ve had up to now. Some reviews say it doesn’t have a crumb tray, it actually has two! Would definitely buy it again.

Very pleased with this toaster - it makes the best toast - crisp, with even browning. Possibly a tad slow, but well worth the (slightly) longer wait!

Arrived with uk plug..ordered.from spanish site.Toaster is slow and doesn't toast very evenly.

It would have been good if each side of 2 toasting racks had individual toasting controls.

Good looking but not so great in use
I always had long slot toaster and first time buying this type of toaster. The right side slot can’t be used if the left side is not in use which makes it a little bit annoying. The timer can be adjusted from 1 to 7 and I most likely burn my toast or bread between 3-4 so I guess 7 can actually bake the dough.
