The drive is lightning-fast and I've noticed a significant improvement in boot times and overall system performance. The 2 TB capacity is more than enough for my needs and allows me to store all of my important files, photos, and videos in one place.Installation was a breeze and the Samsung Magician software made it easy to clone my old drive and transfer all of my files over without any issues. The drive is also very quiet and doesn't generate any noticeable heat, which is a plus.Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend the Samsung 870 QVO 2 TB SATA 2.5 to anyone looking for a high-performance and reliable SSD. The price is a bit higher than some other drives on the market, but in my opinion, the speed and reliability are well worth the investment.

Managed to get this for £20 thanks to the sale and a gift card, so I think this really deserves a review.I really haven't stressed it too much in terms of an SSD, but it's been absolutely rock solid and is my speedy games SSD. It uses QLC (quad layer cell) flash memory, so it's going to be slower than something using triple-layer stuff, but this is meant to be a CHEAP model, so i can't exactly blame Samsung for slapping QLC into the 870 QVO. They rate the 1TB model for 360TBW (terabytes written), which is pretty standard fare for a QLC SSD. You'd have to write over its total capacity 360 times to go past that. It's going to last a while.Write speeds will be slow for anything but sequential writes because that's just the nature of it, what with it using QLC alongside random writes and reads being slower on average than sequential.Overall? Yeah, it's really good. Despite Samsung's suspicious business practices it's a good SSD.

The 870QVO is more than i will ever need. 500mbps is more than fast enough for transferring files, loading games and booting into windows. Setup was very easy, plugged in sata data and power, formatted drive and it worked perfectly fine. One thing I will say is that Samsungs disk software wasn’t advertised enough to prompt me to download but I recommend everyone installs it, this allows you to push your drive into high performance mode and check all stats on the disk. The only disadvantage i can see is the SSD storage limitation in higher performance modes. In HP mode, you get access to 870GB of storage instead of the full 1000GB/1TB that is advertised. Anyone installing more than 10 games should also upgrade to a higher capacity drive, my drive is almost full. Drive also slightly slows down when full but that is expected. Temps are perfect, usually 40 degrees under load.

After replacing my aged HDD I now have 3 of these solid state drives in my PC. They have made a big difference in loading up times and having the amount of capacity across the 3 means I can hold different files/media on 2 of the drives and use the 3rd drive as a back up for essential files etc.

Value for Money, Boot Time on MacBook pro mid 2012 is less than 10 seconds

The media could not be loaded. I replaced by HDD on my MbPro mid 2012 which was 5400 rpm using SamsungMac Users would know the Problem of1.Boot Times2. Lag times after launching a certain app3. Photo and Video Editing4. Running Parrallel VM ( MS windows 10 , Linux, Kali etc )5. And sluggish response of Mouse pointerAll this faded after I replaced with 1TB SSD Samsung Drive. I have attached the video for the Stress Test. HOPE IT HELPS YOU ALL.Note1.BlackMagicDesk used by me(PAID)2. Stress Parameters 5GB (Maximum as per Tool )3. AVG Read now is 518 MB/s4. This product has nearly identical speeds to an m.2, is a lot cheaper and has 1 tb of storage. Nothing else can be said really. Easy to install if you know your way around computers although it should be known you need a sata data and sata power cable, which isn't provided with the product. (its like 9 aud on Bolo so its fine though)
