Therefore, I was a bit concerned that I was going spend 2 or 3 times the price and end up with the same experience. I needn't of worried though. The clippers went through my puppy's fur like a hot knife through butter. Her fur was long, probably 4 to 6 inches and has a a slight curl to it which I thought would make it more difficult! These clippers just went through it with ease! I did youtube tips before I started and I think washing, drying and brushing before clipping might of helped for sure.Was concerned that they were not very quiet when I turned them on, so ran them near her until she got use to the noise and then made a start. The metal combs are great and held on really tightly with no rattling as previous cheaper ones did.My lhasa apso sat through 2 sessions in one day without stressing. I'm no groomer, so it did take me a while to complete but was impressed with the results.The power lead was long enough to reach a nearby socket. Always found that battery/rechargeable ones never lasted as long as needed.I did struggle with her legs, but I think that was down to my lack of experience.Might buy some longer combs, but not just yet. Also, liked that you can replace the blades and combs rather than having to buy a new one when they go blunt or wear out.Liked it came with a case so I don't lose the combs etc..Hope this review helps others to make the plunge!

I don't think this groomer is of a professional standard. I am not sure sure if this is a fault with my item but it cuts out after a short time of use.It also not particularly sharp and I need to keep cleaning the head of my dogs hair. I don't rate this product.I have no choice but to groom my dog myself as he is a rescue dog and doesn't trust groomers!

I originally bought a cheaper set of clippers after deciding to give home grooming a go, but they struggled to cope with my dogâs coat. These are well worth the money as it was like cutting through butter and took less than half the time it took with the cheaper set. They are a little noisier than expected but my dog didnât seem to mind. The snap on comb guides are easy to get on and off and stay in place during use. The 10F blade that comes with the clippers was easier to remove than anticipated and made cleaning so much easier. Very pleased I purchased these and will quickly pay for themselves with the saved grooming fees.

These are worse than the my old cheap ones! Started using them and after a few minutes, began to make a funny noise then one of the screws marked âDO NOT UNSCREWâ fell out on the floor. Dog now left with lines down her back and no way of doing the rest. Absolute waste of money and rubbish.
