It is more than thick enough for one coat per year on a Scottish exposed wall. The finish and colour are excellent.If you are applying to an unpainted wall then you will definitely need 2 coats minimum.

Our garden is on a number of levels, and we have Indian sandstone flags throughout. We have had a couple of guests tripping, or almost tripping, over the period that we had them, so bought this paint to paint the edge of the various steps at the various levels. One application was all that was necessary, and it is noticeable how much safer we and our guests feel as the edges are clear.Our use is very particular, but the paint appears to be of a very high-quality

Just what I needed
3.0 out of 5 stars Runny Consistency But Solid Colour
Used for a project freshening up the exterior walls by applying an anthracite colour band to the bottom of the wall.The paint is water-like in consistency, hard to apply to a rendered surface without it running off.The paint went very far with a solid dark colour after the first coat.When the paint dried it was to a chalky finish. It revealed cracks in the paint, it will need another coat but also not sure if this is a sign the paint will degrade quickly on an outside wall, hopefully not.Despite the paint being runny it adhered well during application and still managed a reasonably straight line against the masonry masking tape on a rendered wall.

Had few rubbish Bolo purchases recently where reviews good but honestly going to buy from tradional diy sellers from now on as buying such items off Bolo has become a false economy and costing more to buy replacement elsewhere. Is like water very thin teo coats applied dried over 3 days then after a day of showers surface underneath showing in places. I will say colour is very polar white when initially applied but doesn't last and provide decent coverage for external usage. Please don't been fooled by 4 star review like I was.
