I added the Hue Bloom to our snug room to go with the Hue Bridge we’ve already set up in the kitchen. It’s been a brilliant little addition super easy to connect and control via the app. The colours are really vibrant, and we enjoy changing the shades to suit the mood, whether we’re winding down or just pottering about.It sits neatly in the corner and gives off a soft ambient glow that makes the room feel extra cosy in the evenings. Great for movie nights or just relaxing with a cuppa. My eldest loves picking the colours too it’s become a bit of a family habit!Would definitely recommend if you’re already using Hue or thinking of starting out with smart lighting.

*Warning*These come with 2-pin EU plugs, no UK 3-pin is included.Call to Philips Hue customer support and first time they said there was nothing they could do and it was Bolo's issue to sort. Called back again straight after and another advisor offered to send out a UK plug with no hesitation.

On the whole, it gives a good splash of coloured light, but one needs more than one to get a full effect. On grey days, the orange and red tones are very welcomed. It is quite small but effective for its size.

Smaller than I expected physically but still an amazing light. Hue are just the best smart lights out there and this is another superb product to add to the collection. Great lighting and the colours are great. Works flawlessly with the hub and is a true smart light.

Bright and directional light
Works well - if you need directional light this is the one to get - If you don’t mind a light “ball”, I’d recommend the Philips Hue Go 2.0. It costs a little more but it seems brighter and you have the convenience of having a battery and being able to move to other places on special occasions - I also have two of those and I highly recommmend them as well.
