Yuk. Or, of course, I find the wipes don’t actually remove make-up very well. I don’t wear make-up everyday but I do expect my face wipes to give a decent go at removing it when I do.I don’t expect face wipes to remove my waterproof eyeliner and mascara but, again, some are better than others at removing the worst whilst not irritating my sensitive eyes. I use Nivea Double Effect Eye Make-up Remover (the bottle that has two layers, the one that’s blue with a clear layer. This is the BEST!) for my eyes. I also use Clean & Clear Deep-cleansing Sensitive Lotion on a pad after using wipes most nights, before applying my serum and moisturiser.Anyway, back to these Simple Protect ‘N’ Glow biodegradable sensitive face wipes! I’ve used most of the Simple range of wipes over the years but as soon as I used these for the first time I was a convert. They feel nice to use, cleanse really well and leave my skin looking it’s best both night and morning. My skin can be fickle even at this age and be both prone to feeling dry whilst still developing poxy blackheads. I find these particular wipes don’t leave my skin feeling tight and dry, yet are thorough at removing that invisible atmospheric grime that mysteriously sticks to your face and feed blackheads. I can’t really put my finger on it but these wipes just leave my skin looking nice and feeling good. I’m just hoping Simple don’t suddenly stop making them.I was dubious of the price of these wipes on Bolo but true to promise 4 packs were delivered next-day and are the genuine article which shops are currently charging up to >£5.00 per pack of 20 wipes. Highly recommend!

I usually use the biodegradable Simple Wipes. I didn't find these to be any different to them really or notice a glow. They were more expensive than the normal wipes and not available in multipack size. They were fine on my sensitive skin and felt OK, but overall not worth the extra expense compared to standard simple wipes.

Cleanses Effectively Without Irritation
I've tried many, many cleansing wipes with varying results. Some contain alcohol, others cleanse only superficially, others irritate my skin and many can't be used to remove lipstick. 'Simple Instant Glow Cleansing Wipes' came up in my Bolo recommendations - I gave them a try and they're excellent as part of the cleansing process or for cleansing on the go. I have sensitive skin, prone to redness so I steer clear of any skin products that use alcohol. One wipe takes off foundation, waterproof eye make-up and long wearing lipstick - no need to rinse. No redness or irritation on my skin and the product does leave the skin with a nice glow.
Wettest Wipes I’ve Used!
And the wetness is greatly appreciated! My skin feels clean and moisturised after using one of these wipes. They really are the best I’ve ever used and will be my go-to wipe in the future. End result is clean, glowing skin that looks and feels nicely moisturised.
