Rectal Use: Lubricate silver probe tip with petroleum jelly for easy insertion, Gently insert sensor approximately 1 cm (less than 1/2") into rec*tum, Normal temperature between 36.2℃ and 37.7℃.

Cheap, but limited range
Cheap, but limited useful range. it seems the thermometer display can only show three things - "Lo", "37", or "Hi". Which isn't very reassuring if you're checking for a fever, and it's useless in other contexts such as the kitchen.
Good product, excellent value for money
Small, easy to use and seemingly accurate. Comes in a very handy plastic case for hygienic storage or keeping in your bag etc. Bleeps very quietly when the temperature is ready to read.

Purchased this due to having fever since September last year on and off, every 3/4 weeks. Bought this to keep an eye on my temperature and it does a good job. Proves when I am really not well.
