Arrived on time - easy to put together & quality is good making it amazing value for money.A small broken part (safe guard) when arrived - wouldn’t of stopped it working but Customer service was straight on it and sent new part out 5⭐️

This drill is not a professional grade tool but for home workshop use is well made and finished for the cost. For more precision hole drilling it far exceeds use of a hand held power drill, it is also possibly safer to use than a hand held drill. The chuck guard can obstruct view of work but then it nearly always does on even professional pillar drills. Good news is it can be swung out of the way. Proper clamping of work and wearing of eye protection glasses and there should not be a problem.Overall, not perfect, but a very handy tool to have in a home workshop.

This Pillar drill arrived on time and looked as expected. But after only approx 2 weeks and using it for maybe 4/5 Times, it has now stopped operating and just making a whirring noise but has no movement at all tho all parts are movable but not operating as a usable drill. Good item when working!!?

Poor first impression as the flimsy plastic guard was shattered in the box. I bodged it together but eventually threw it away and went without as it blocks vision a lot.The chuck is smooth, but seems to undo itself during operation unless you do it up very tight, and the supplied key is fairly soft and gets chewed up easily.The instructions are unusually clear, though, and the more important things like the stand, operation, and levelness are all good. The motor does get very hot during sustained operation - I suspect the cooling fans are undersized. I find the controls on the left side quite awkward as I'm right handed.But generally it works well, and a huge improvement over drilling metal by hand. Note that if you're doing small work, you'll probably want a block to hold the pieces secure as well, as that's not supplied.Worth the £89 I paid.

Very happy with this drill, it's sturdy and accurate enough for my needs, drilled a 12mm diameter hole through an 18mm dowel without any issues using a forstner drill bit. When it arrived the plastic bit at the top that holds the depth gauge was broken, I emailed the supplier and they immediately dispatched a replacement, very happy with the service and the drill.
