It's one of the best things I never knew about. Good nutritional value, great flavour.I had it with Greek yoghurt, excellent!I used it in place of sugar in my Chinese cooking sauce mixture, great.

Yummy when mixed in recipes but not so good if you eat on its own. I love medjool dates but this syrup it does not remind me of the fruit at all. it has a molasses consistency.

This is a fantastic natural syrup to substitute for other more refined sweet syrups. I use it on porridge, in coffee and on ice cream and desserts. Try it with a grilled banana for a lovely dessert. I tend to find other syrups (honey and maple) give me the sugar high and the crash more than this does. Its lovely and caramel in flavour too.
