Arrived on time and fortunately hadn't spilled or been damaged due to it being in two boxes. The Bolo box was handed to me with the this way up arrow in pointing upwards which was right but when i opened that box the paint was in another box and on it's side as the this way up arrow on the inner box was pointing left. Not too impressed with that. Putting something in a box the right way up isn't rocket science. Anyway...I have painted one door and door frame with the gloss paint and am very impressed with it. It is thin and does drip a lot so do take care and put sheets or paper down etc. It covers well and is incredibly quick drying. It looks excellent once it is dry and looks like it is hard wearing. Am hoping there's going to be enough paint left to do the remaining 6 doors as it hardly used anything to paint the first door. A very good deal considering it's 2.5 litres for £19.00. Will definitely buy again if needed.

This paint is excellent and a pleasure to work with.I have just used it to paint 4 interior doors and frames with superb results. (see photos)I used two coats, after sanding the old white painted surface. The paint dries quickly, touch dry in one and a half hours. I did leave it to dry for 24 hours before the second coat but I could have painted it sooner.The paint is water based, so it's clean to work with while painting, and quick and very easy to clean up after finishing. Brushes can be washed with soap and water. I used a little washing up liquid too.Any small splashes or spills are easily wiped up with a wet cloth too.The finish is a brilliant white with a pleasant gloss appearance.I would highly recommend this paint.

This paint is a brilliant white , quick drying paint . I have always used satin wood , but I found this went yellow very quickly lately . So I tried this and the whiteness is so much better , I highly recommend this paint for the whiteness , quick drying , and you don’t need turps to clean the paint brushes , plus there is no paint smell .

Johnstone's Quick Dry Gloss in Brilliant White is fantastic! It’s water-based, low-odor, and dries super fast (1-2 hours). The finish is smooth and glossy, perfect for wood, metal, and even radiators. Great coverage too—2.5L goes a long way. Highly recommend for any interior project!

Very pleased how easy this was to paint on and wash brushes afterwards........but rather disappointed at how lacking the 'shine' was.I had hoped for a proper gloss finish, and it was way nicer than the old yellowing white that was there before, but perhaps water-based ones simply aren't capable of a brilliant gloss finish.Picture may not show it, but it was more of a soft sheen white, which is okay if that is what you want.
