My fodmap friendly sugar substitute. Not as sweet as sugar for sure but after a year or so of using this, sugar is now way too sweet for my taste. This version is among the cheaper available on Bolo mostly and a helluvah lot cheaper than the supermarket version!

As advertised, this sweetener tastes amazing. No bitter aftertaste; just sweetness. But it is about 3 times less sweet than sugar so I used 3 teaspoons per cuppa. Unfortunately, at this dose I found it was a very effective laxative. I have used it a bit since realising this, but only as a partial sugar substitute and not in every cup of tea. The laxative properties are known and are not going to affect everyone however, so I'd still give it a try, but maybe don't take too much until you know if it will adversely affect you.
